- Former Rangers and Dundee United midfielder, Charlie Miller sits down with Si to discuss his football career which saw him work with a plethora of the game's biggest characters including Gazza, Ally McCoist and Walter Smith.
Charlie provides an entertaining insight into his rollercoaster career from the highs of setting up Brian Laudrup's winner to seal 9 in a Row to his disappointing departure from Ibrox.
He also discusses his career thereafter which included moves abroad to Norway, Belgium and Australia along with four enjoyable years back home with Dundee United.
Charlie was a great player and he seems a nice guy. Level headed, recognises and admits to his weaknesses, but he’s putting his football knowledge and know how back into the youngsters. Good on you pal. Hope it all works out for him.
Really down to earth guy. Great tae hear he just wanted to play for Rangers, cos he supported them, nothing to do with the bile associated with the old firm (from a Celtic fan)
Loved Miller at United . He was always one of the few who would come talk to the fans after the game

Always thought he was a five card trick tbh but comes across as just yer average guy who managed to play the game at a very high level which is what we all woulda wanted...Good guy

Glasgow Schemes were full lads had real raw natural ability .I witnessed boys who made pro level had medium ability at best. Charlie’s seems a decent enough guy and he’s done well to get through his problems but something he said says a lot to me when asked about Celtic or Rangers , he said “I’m Protestant obviously” meaning well obviously I’m a Rangers fan Cos I’m Protestant, don’t get me wrong he goes on to say he knows nothing about religion but that’s the way kids have been brought up and that’s why the bigotry between Celtic and Rangers is still about and will be for a long time sadly, I’m a Celtic fan and I find it sad there’s still ppl on both sides who still talk about religion when talking about Celtic and Rangers.
