One thing that I respected about this man the most isn’t just because he’s easily the greatest RB of all time. It was the way he went about doing his thang(yes THANG, not thing lol), and the humility he represented behind it. When I used to play football, I tried my best to emulate not just his style of play, but the even temperament to match. And to be honest, we’ll never see another player like him again EVER. I can put Steph Curry in the category with him also because they both allowed their games to speak for them, especially Barry. But that just emphasizes more of the enigma of who Barry was on/off the field. Truly a class act!!

Teams would gameplan for Barry and stack the box to stop him…and he would STILL go off.
As a native Detroiter Barry was a God Send to us, thanks for the memories #20 🙏
Barry was my favorite player to watch even though the Lions weren’t my team. He was the best RB in the NFL and would be the rushing record holder if he hadn’t decided to retire.
Barry Sanders will forever be my favorite football player until the day I die. I always wonder (maybe not not satisfied like Mike) with his answer to retire. He was still so explosive and probably could of achieved so much more in the long run. However, I am glad that he's happy and content with his decision.
Vision is one thing but to make your body do what Barry did was a gift from God 🙏🏾
Man everybody doesn't need a talkshow. How can you talk to a legend like that. I mean what gives you the right.
Exactly calling Barry Sanders in his 60 "dog " is wild
I 100% agree. Barry Sanders is EASILY the greatest RB EVER. He not only had the greatest NFL career, he also had the greatest college career ever. I wish these youngsters could’ve seen him play. The dude was an alien!
payton was my favorite back growing up, but i was too young to have seen him ACTUALLY play, but all the highlights and library tapes really made me look up to him as a player. but i was old enough to watch barry, and to see how friggin crazy good the guy was. the man literally introduced my mind to the juke move. man was he special, and it was crazy that he quit so young. the most standout guy though, he was the only guy ive seen before and after that never celebrated, i wish these kids nowdays would play off that a little bit. i feel embarrassed for some these guys celebrating nowdays.
Emmit Smith, Barry Sanders, ,Bo Jackson, Marshawn Lynch, ooowee that wouldve been a hell of a podcast
Two great running backs explaining why they did things a certain way. Respect to both of them and also to a very good fullback.
The most exciting running back of all time, I remember watching games and the man was dodging and breaking ankles for 60 yard touchdowns multiple times per game, Barry was incredible
Barry, Walter, and Gale were the most exciting dudes to watch. Beastmode carried that same kind of energy. RB/HB are not appreciated the way they should be. It's a tough position to play as complete as these guys.
My favorite running back of all time, the BEST running back of all time, and yet my favorite story of him was that he once did a standing jump into the back of a pickup truck with the latch closed
Barry's from everything I've seen and I've watched a lot. He's really built differently man. He's like a really genuine person and a damn I don't know man but I feel like men like him. Let's just say God don't make a lot of men like him. He's a special man. LIONS!
This only rb that you can say you have never seen anybody like him players do something Barry Sanders like but never seen a player like him period
B.Sanders # 20 🐐 ❤
I was never a Lions fan but I would buy a ticket just to go watch Barry Sanders play. Even though we have Bo Jackson at the time I was still a Barry Sanders fan. He was the RB goat in my humble opinion.
Cowboy fan here, Barry my favorite running back of all time!!!!!
And not even emmit??
Barry Sanders would’ve been undisputed GOAT had he played a few more years. He should’ve requested a trade to a contender for his last few years. Emmitt Smith got the rings & record.
I'm a Cowboys fan and Emmitt Smith is my favorite, but Barry Sanders a billy Goat on that field
@@carimurel9348best game I ever watched was cowboys against the Lions Barry and Emmit where separated by 1 yard at the end of the game. Awesome game to watch two backs go at it.
He had his health and plenty of money, and Detroits front office made it quite clear they weren’t building around him.
Having Barry Sanders on your team and not building around him was crazy work by Detroit.
Barry > Emmitt
Yup, I said it 🤨
We will never see someone so good, be so humble thank you Mr. Sanders Detroit loves the representation.
Love the show, guys! Laid back, solid! Thx!
I can remember Barry Sanders as a ROOKIE. In my life, he was the first RB to leave a lasting impression on me. Him and Faulk were beautiful to watch.
Barry Sanders is the best to ever do it!
The greatest running back of all time no debate 💯💪🏾✊🏾
He not disrespectful
THANK YOU FELLAS FOR PUTTING ON FOR ALL THE GREAT RBs.
Barry sanders is a great human being but he is the best running back and was exciting to watch
Barry Sanders and Ricky Watters in the early to mid 90's. When they balled, they really balled.
