enjoyed this pal.. and mid/low 53s are good times! great effort.. especially with the typically inconsistent Warrington boost. nice one.

When wanting to overtake on the ramp or if battling coming up to it, stay on the inside the person with the fastest lap time on the track there, a lad named Jake Anders absolute legend, he gets most overtakes on the ramp when coming on the inside, it’s one of the best ways to overtake on that track when mastered properly

Great video mate! That crash really wasn’t your fault he was tapping on the brakes at the top in a really weird place. Low 53s is a really decent time so fair play. Next time you go try boosting down the ramp it seems to give a few extra tenths rather than boosting down through dunlops

Thanks mate! I’ll have to try that with the boost next time I go - still not 100% convinced it actually worked for me 😂

@@thepitlanecollective I feel that the boosts there have been weird for a while hopefully they start to go back to normal soon I miss the old reliable boost aha

Those are pretty good times for basically your first time! Certainly better than where I started at least 😂 As for the boost button, you may be thinking of the SODI karts where the boost resets at a specific part. Some tracks reset the boost on the start/finish line (such as Liverpool), but others (Newcastle for instance) have it reset basically in the middle of the track. That particular boost button resets at the same point every time regardless of how much you use it, whereas the Bizkarts reset after a configured amount of time after you press it (think it's something like 30 seconds at Preston as an example), which I believe is somewhere between 50 and 55 seconds at Warrington. As for whether it actually works after that time has passed is down to your luck and the kart you have 😅

Thanks mate! I should say I’d been to the old Warrington track with the petrol karts a fair few times so it was more a case of relearning the karts 😂
OH! That makes so much sense then - I was expecting it to restart each lap but if it’s on a timer that explains the weird resets. What an odd system 😂

It's kinda like push-to-pass in super formula or indycar. The timer is there so other drivers can try to offset their boost deployment. If everyone got boost at the same place they would all likely use it at the same spots. At least I think that's the reason.@@thepitlanecollective
