WHOOOAH-HO!!! I discovered both Robert Graham Valour & Fortitude in TJ Maxx 6 years ago for like $25.00 each!
Saw prices rising 3-4 years ago to like $70.00 +. Score the Big Boy 8.4 oz bottles in the wine box presentations for both Valour & Fortitude when I saw prices getting crazy. Set for life on those now.
Valour really made me appreciate what sage can do for a fragrance. Coffee & sage combo is Gorgeously🤤 Special in cooler weather!!🔥🔥🔥
Closest thing I have to it is Mont Blanc Exceptionel, but the orange is more noticeable in the Mont Blanc. Coffee more noticeable in Valour. What a 💎! Glad your giving it a decent review

Only reason I didn't pursue Robert Graham Courage is the mixed reviews saying it was basic or lackluster or very generic/familiar dna. Positive reviews on the other 2 across the board

Sir Ramsey, good review. I still have an unopened box of Valor. I will wait until they are all gone, then put it out there for a collector $$$ 😅😅 nice fragrance wonder why they went under ? Take care !!
I don't think the brand went under just the fragrance line got Discontinued
Valour is on my wishlist, and this review didn't talk me off this. Ram is correct about current designer fragrances. Every man I walk past I detect is wearing a fragrance, and I mean no exceptions, smells of the same ambroxan overloaded "blue" scent. Even if you thought the scent was appealing (it isn't), why wouldn't you mix it up as a change of pace? Apparently the designers are aware and are essentially sticking to one scent profile,, boring with little character. Sadly a reflection of our times.

I got the trio for $20 each when Barney’s went out of business. I ended up selling them because I felt they just weren’t things I’d wear but someone out there is enjoying!
60 bucks is a great deal but 20 bucks is a steal!
I think most collectors (of any kind)go through a cycle of sorts. It starts off with cheap and simple. Then we get too big for our britches and branch out to something more obscure/“weird”. But, in the end, I would argue the journey makes a full circle and we end up realizing that simple is preferable. The only problem is that simple can also be expensive (and after the full cycle you are probably not wearing a cheap but rather an expensive simple fragrance). Just my two cents

Cheers Rams I recall seeing the big ass flacons some years back on a retailer and being tempted ( bottle whore here lol ) but I didn’t kinda too pricey for me back then for a blind buy designer with almost no reviews to speak of , I didn’t even grab a regular bottle,not sure why but I love to hear your take and thoughts and all things considered I probably was correct back then , cheers man have a good one 🙏✌️👍
The bottles are pretty fantastic especially the 250ml with the bust of each animal on top 🤌🤌🤌
Ram, I'm sorry to hear about your divorce. I appreciate you being open about a sensitive topic. If it's not too personal to ask, was your fragrance collecting ever a point of contention in your marriage? I ask because I've started to see myself spending more than I felt comfortable with, and that it was bleeding into the budget I allocated toward time with my GF and friends. I swear so many people in the fragrance hobby get divorced, and I was like geez - is this a relationship killer? I know people split up ALL THE TIME, so it's a cognitive bias on my part because my mind was picking up on it specifically, but it definitely made me think about it.
My ex made everything a point of contention ... but every one's situation is different

I like designers. Since niche frags are getting so high end, designers are actually affordable. How’s that for a flip? 😂 I love Ferragamo, and Givenchy, and ME “dupes.” There’s so much out there to love on every spectrum ❤
