With BOTH of their bases of operations between midtown and lower Manhattan, it took The Seven almost 2 years to decide to FINALLY “invade” the boys HQ😂

Kimiko getting leg sawed off don't cry out, but Frenchie getting taking cries in terror. An Sam is a lot strong then before with his emotions turned off, no holding back at all. My theory is Gen V's Marie Moreau I think she could be the last Supe.. In theory Butcher could infect everyone with virus and Marie could pull the Virus and the V out of everyone or at least the ones she wants to save. Next Season is the last as of now, the show was originally planned for 5 seasons from the start.

Ngl Kimiko talking could have been done at a more threating time, like she's seen Frenchy almost DIE. But him walking away was enough ig.
I'm guessing it's because she loses him so soon after she finally allowed herself to have feelings for Frenchie in this episode.
yeah the writers fumble a lot of these ''epic moments'' like Butcher taking the V was dropped so casually, but could've been done a lot better, him taking it maybe NOW at the very end, after seeing he's lost it all and is near death, he just takes it and kills Neuman. Something amongst the lines of it.
Kimiko speaking, as clearly even missed by so many, has very little buildup to it. Comparing to the scenario where ''girls get it done'' vs Stormfront, everyone goes silent, she is the only one giggling, every viewer is expecting her to say something , the buildup is done right, aaand she doesn't speak. now no buildup, music blasting, all this action happening so quickly, she speaks, nobody notices because it all blends in. VERY random timing.
Idk what they got planned for s5 final fights, but honestly it feels to me like they will not top the epicness of Herogasms Soldier boy, Hughie, Butcher vs Homelander scenes. That was just peak The Boys. Only real fight this season we got was Starlight/Butcher/A train/MM vs Deep and Noir, which for being the only big fight felt pretty cheap in comparison to Herogasm.

Loved Hughie this episode and loved that frenchie and kimiko are back. But boy was I annoyed at some things. They would probably had Ryan on their side if they didn’t pressure him. And fucking butcher. Neuman on their side would have probably been a big help. Everything has just went to shit now. Now we gotta wait another year for season 5.
not even a year its going to be 2 years because next year is Gen V S2 then 2026 will be the boys S5

I'd argue a lot of execution for things is very terrible. Kimiko speaking expectations/buildup here vs ''girls get it done'' vs Stormfront.
Butcher taking comp V with 0 buildup even tho it should be against all his morals.
Neuman dies, but her daughter is just what... forgotten by the boys? they just ran off and left here there or smtn? idk random, missing scenes there of her for sure.
Butcher's power - everyone thought he'd turn into Venom or smtn. Instead he's got... tentacles. wut. Sure ig not the worst thing in the world, just felt like a cheap/not creative power design for such a brute man. (Even OG s3 herogasm butcher laser eyes seemed cooler, more fitting, since he's supposed to be like Homelander, different side of the same coin)
And probably more stuff I've nearly forgotten like the pointless Frenchie backstory, pointless girl from Kimiko's backstory, pointless Hughie's dad dying and so on. Time spent on scenes that could've been spent on progressing main story.
