I didn't initially have the context for the what's the dirt line but the imagery of somebody pulling up with 37 other people was absurd enough to make me laugh on its own
Nobody in the reactor community is cool with the lawsuit, but Scru is one of the few reactors I saw who, as a battle rap fan and Kendrick fan in particular, went on record more than once praising Drake for being willing to get in the ring with Dot. Said his respect for Drake went through the roof, said that he was a real 🥷 for battling. That's why, imo, Scru is taking this switch-up very personally. Offended down to his ten toes.
Yeah, he was one of the few that was RESOLUTE in saying "I respect drake more for doing it" and not going into calling him a joke. And then Drake was like "erm, thanks buddy, but actually I am a joke :D" and quintupled down.
Yes, Scru Face Jean opened for Kendrick Lamar at a concert. Scru Face Jean is a rapper from Lincoln, Nebraska who has also opened for Future the 'Good Kid Maad City' tour.
1:55 the line is so dope, it's like he is asking "what's the dirt?" After he pulled up with 37 ninjas .... and at the same time he packing Maaaaaatthewwwwwwwwwww ...

Scru killed it (Knox Hill's is great as well, has some great bars). I may be a biased Westsiiiiiide LA dude, but Joey (not a) Bada$$' track felt like a light pack - Ray Vaugh's response was incredible.
Was WAITING FOR THIS! Scru ate DOWN with this. His inflection and the way the music cuts on “Cause niggas be suing and shit” is so hard. Love scru’s music and his reactions, he’s got awesome writing skills. His rap as Mansa Musa in ERB rocks!
I think it's really cool that all those reactors have replied through actual diss tracks. Like, Drake tries to push it away from hip-hop, but these people are actually keeping it rap, doing what the culture does best. Some real hip-hop shit, god bless the culture
“This is what it sound like when the moon howl back” is such a gorgeous and also tough line. It’s far superior to any of Drake’s diss tracks. I enjoyed Knox’s diss but I probably won’t relisten to it outside of revisiting different parts of the beef. (This beef has been so extended that there are so many parts of it to revisit!) Scru’s song is legit going on my motivational playlist because it has the right aggression for when I need that inner fire to make ish happen or burn ish down. The very online references make me LOL and I love all of the references but it’s also just a great rap song. It is an excellent Drake (and Ak and vulture diss) but it also transcends that.
Mfw UA-camrs are making more interesting and noteworthy musical statements than people who are considered musicians first (not to shade Scru or Knox, they're great)

He did it with the Wakked Out Murals instrumental, It's honestly fire and funny af too lmao.
That gold rush bar is so hard, with the way the gold rushes in Australia and (particularly relevant here) California contributed to colonialism with a bunch of white people moving out there and taking the local resources to make money 🔥
Despite being Aussie I've never heard anyone talk about how indigenous Australians were affected by the gold rush. These communities had their land taken from under them and had to adapt just to survive
Im not usually a fan if Scru But this was good. My only issue with it is that he didn't try to get his own beat, doing something that sounds this good but on a remix to beat really dampens it for me.
I remember when Scru did a verse over BBL Drizzy he specified that he had nothing against Drake (he just wanted to use a free fuckin Metro beat, and his verse was barely related to Drake) and it seems Drake could not be content with that
My dream image is now Ak coming out to not like us at the superbowl, having been the mole the entire time, supreme long con. Not because it would make sense, but because it would be REALLY funny.
