This was my great grandparents house. So many beautiful memories were shared here. It is wild how much that neighborhood has changed! 20+ years ago there was basically a forest across the street and only like 4 houses in the area. We were in town and stopped by there a couple weeks ago. I would have never known we were in the same neighborhood if i didn't know any better. We chatted with the neighbor as well. It was sad to hear the house is having to be torn down but to find out the whole story put our hearts at ease. He also told us about the different ways you are trying to reuse old material from there property as much as possible which I think is quite beautiful. I really hope your family enjoys the new home your husband is designing for you all and you have many memories to cherish like we all have.
