Fucking legendary game. I remember watching my older brother play this, this game terrified me we got stuck on the giant Rat boss fight and never got past it. I first played it in my 20s on an emulator where I finally completed it and broke down crying. A classic. Good to see that there are people out there completely breaking it in less than an hour. The soundtrack is just one of many Jeremy Soule's masterpieces. I prefer it to Secret of Mana 10 times. BTW what's your favorite dog? Cheers!
It's great to see such love for this game! I'm glad you were given the opportunity to complete it :) If I'm allowed to include the randomizer, my favorite dog would be what we call the Everpupper (the little scotty from Podunk) :D
Congrats!! Aside the new techniques your records are getting more and more refined , I guess the multiple randos and all the years of grind are paying off.
I just randomly discovered this game yesterday and spent 3-4 hours playing about 1/3 of it. Then I found your video with your old record, and today you posted a new one. I have two takeaways: I had more fun watching you set the record than stumbling through the game myself, and celebrating your victories leads to injury.
Hahaha, I bring shame to myself :D But there's so much more to the game! Don't give up on it yet! I'll be picking up 100% next, so hopefully we get to show more off!
