It’s always a good idea to, even though there are only occasionally grizzlies in the area. we always hang our food and make sure nothing scented is in the tents. I have had a black bear try to get under my rain fly to get my pack before. Pretty scary stuff at 3 AM, 12 miles into the backcountry.
I remember doing this with my pops, showing me where to cast and how to clean fish. I cant wait to share memories like this with my kiddos.
