Помимо отличного танца и музыки ещё хочется отметить декорации, свет на сцене и костюмы. Не дешевка и не пошлятина "все лучшее сразу". Вкус, стиль во всем.

Let's appriciate how this was filmed! Always being able to see everybody who is dancing, but if only one or two are dancing they are zoomed in. Thank you! Finally someone knows what the people want to see!❤
Aaaah!!!! I am 100% with you!!! Isn't it wonderful not to have to see close ups of out-of-breath dancers or kissing dancers?! It is indeed a pleasure to be able to see a choreographer's overall vision and the full length and line of dancers. How glad I am to have come across you❤️ Yessssss!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it is :) Denis is loyal to Nikolai and loves him so much. Great young man. And one I can't stand is Ovcharenko, he betrayed him for money. He has no soul.
Actually, his favorite was always Angelina Vorontsova, she was special o him and still is. They got very close as a teacher and student, dancing partners and friends. She is married now but they are still dancing together in La Fille Mal Gardee, Nikolai just danced Widow Simone and Angelina was Lisa. They are still close friends. Nikolai danced in Paquita with her and it was amazing, She was only 17 and I should say she was better than Eleonora, more joyous, charismatic and expressive.
I think Bulanova would make a great Kitri - and, actually, Paquita as well. She has the technique, the regality and that spark in the eye, and, on top of that, she really gives off that spicy/flirty Spanish flavour in the little details of her movement. While I have only seen her in videos, she seems to be the kind of dancer who is quite reserved in class but really shines on stage.

Hi Pete, I watched it again and I have to say sadly I didn't enjoy Sevenard so much , she seemed dry and not expressive, I think young Vorontsova was much better when she danced it with her teacher Tsiskaridze, there was joy, charisma, grace. I didn't see much of it in Sevenard unfortunately. I didn't want to say it before because I thought maybe it was my imagination so I watched again and had the same reaction. I really want to see it from Bolshoi with Zakharova, I love her. Haha... I am sure Gloria understands :)Thank you for the compliment, I think I have a long way to go but I learned a lot from Nikolai's lectures and interviews. How good it is to understand Russian. And you said it, this music is full of joy as this is Paquita and Lucien's joyous occasion, as they found each other not only as a family (Paqita was abducted by Gypsies as a child) but fell in love and this is their glorious wedding. Did you see Nikolai and Angelina dancing it?

The leading dancers are Eleonora Sevenard and Denis Rodkin (you can look them up on Instagram, they’re couple in real life too.) . I also recognised Maria Khoreva, Maria Bulanova, Maria Petukhova, Anastasia Nuykina, Alexandra khiteyeva as the soloists. Hope that helped!
Могу выразится по другому - песня та-же, поёт она же! И что Вам Волочкова покоя не дает? Между прочим, в свое время примой была, а чем она занимается вне сцены - её личное дело! А что касается юбилейного вечера АРБ - хотелось бы видеть кого-то кроме Э.Севенард. Два года подряд была выпускницей, на неё ставили выпускной спектакль, в этом году, на юбилее - опять Пахита с её солированием. Денис Родькин вообще никаким боком в АРБ не относится. Мне просто обидно - столько замечательных девочек в этом году выпускается, а нас опять Пахитой с Севенард кормят! Да, спектакль великолепен, но хочется чего-то нового!
Не впечатлило. Очень тускло звучит оркестр. Блеклые декорации, на фоне которых не выделяются танцовщицы. Удлиненные пачки (возможно не всегда надо следовать первоисточнику XIX века) очень обедняют вариацию. Пахита всегда очень выигрышно смотрелась в Кировском театре. Виктор Андреевич Федотов блистательно управлял оркестром. Детская мазурка смотрелась очень галантно. Все танцовщицы в ярких коротких пачках, сверкающих самоцветами. Глядя на солистку, вроде как из рода И.Ф.Кшесинского, вспомнилась на выпускном в Пахите ныне уже ушедшая Елена Мартинсон. И как то ни блеска, ни азарта, какими всегда раньше отличался этот дивертисмент. Вообщем, не порадовало.

Petuchova was fantastic! Unbelievable spiritual plasticity. It is a huge disappointment not to have her in Mariinski or Bolshoi.
