It feels so good to know I’m not the only one w the catastrophic mindset and like I can’t help it, I try but I can’t and I feel so alone while it seems like my friends live this carefree life and I’m just out here a ball of stress, I want to start therapy so bad but it’s so expensive my god
i also have anxiety (social, gad) and ocd and you should definitely see a therapist!! like while studying for the lsat my symptoms got sooo much worse and exposure therapy, while harsh, can be good as well as cognitive behavioral therapy. Def recommend and it’s good you’re thinking about therapy yourself! 💗💗

bestie I went through the same thing with the sleeping and the OCD hyperfixation! I tried to have one good thing happen a day and focus on it to make it be a good day! some days are worse than others but the constant fear is gone through that technique, therapy and a low dose SSRI(though not necessary for everyone), I hope everything looks up!
i used to have the same thing as a kid where i was scared to fall asleep!! (i have ocd too) and i started seeing a therapist and it helps to have someone tell you that what you're feeling isn't real!!! tried meds and hated them though :/

It sounds like you have anticipation anxiety. I take prestiq in the morning and gabapentin at night to help with my anxiety. It sounds like you really need a therapist, even if it was remote.
