    I'm in US and want to compliment you on the way you do your content. Well done and well presented. I have a 2020 Ford Ranger XLT Super Crew FX4 off road. It's a great truck and I've done a lot of mods but always looking for more.
    My tail lights (not the entry level) don't fit like the ones you show nor does the plug in (just one plug and play to the unit). Do you have a vid for the 2020? I've discovered the 2020 is a bit different than other mods when you go for after market's.
    Let me know.
    Again, this is a well produced content.

    Is it just v1 where you need to add a fog light, I would prefer to have the symmetry on them all and add a fog.

    hello there, just wondering what colour cables are the version 3 brake lights? trying to tape in the cables to connect the canopy brake light

  • @mao_gwam

    surely the drivers side reverse light on LED is wired to the fog light switch through factory loom. Why not colour the inside of the lens red?? or pop out the reversing light and cover with red clear wrap

    Can you replace the bulbs on the RLF083 v2? My left break light started flickering and i cannot figure out how open the housing without potentially breaking it...

    • @L663
      @L663  3 роки тому

      Hi - We sell several lights and call them all RFL083 but have some RLF083-LED etc !
      If its the sealed LED type this can be a problem !
      Did you buy them from us ? we may need to replace your unit.

    Having previously installed the V2 units on my Ranger, I eventually switched back to the original factory units as these upgraded LED units might look good but are nothing more than cheap Chinese rubbish. After around 12 months a component will fail within each unit at roughly the same time which then sends power from the brake lights down the lighting circuit. This causes the front side lights to flash every time the foot brake is pressed. The indicators will also start to fail led by led at around the same time. Added to that, nobody can actually see your brake lights or indicators in bright sunlight as the output is completely insufficient and probably illegal. Would be great if Ford made some upgraded LED units for the Ranger but unfortunately they don't.

      JPIW I beg to differ. These last as long as they are fitted properly and looked after. There obviously an underlying fault on your vehicle. As for brightness in daylight my brake lights can be seen very clearly

      @@Mark_B544 I look forward to you returning to your post at some time in the future to give us an update. I am in the fortunate position of having experienced these units working fine for around a year before they both then failed internally from nothing other than cheap Chinese components. As they are a sealed unit, the only looking after which you can apply in order to try and keep them working for longer is to not install them in the first place. As far as the brightness is concerned, I would be very interested to know how many vehicles have failed an annual road worthiness test or been pulled by the cops for insufficient light being emitted from these units.
