It was the ex-wife who decided to move on from the relationship. Now a few years later, I am in a relationship with a younger woman where we both appreciate and love each other for who we are.
What you're describing is someone living a sad life and maybe that accounts for the majority of older men. Out of shape, struggling, feeling old. That isn't me. I'm in my late forties, I run a business, play video games, hike, work out, listen to an array of old and new music, keep up-to-date with trends through my awesome kids and my gaming buddies that comprise of a wide range of ages. I don't want to be with someone like my ex telling me, "If only I were younger", "I'm too old to wear that", "You go do [whatever] and I'll just stay home and crochet (or whatever)", "don't you feel tired doing all that". I need someone alive like me, who wants to dress sexy, dance in clubs, go on hikes, explore ancient cities on vacation, etc. Maybe some young women need a "trauma bond" as mentioned, others just like older men because of maturity, stability, etc. It's an interesting video, but for me, younger is better. Harrison Ford has been married to Calista Flockhart for 14 years and they have a 23 year age difference, and the list goes on. Even older women have relationship issues, sometimes more so because they've been in longer more abusive relationships, so I don't think "trauma" has anything to do with anything. Everyone has baggage, it comes down to how you feel for each other, that's the important thing. Any relationship can fall apart, but you'll never know if you never try. My general rule however is she has to be at least 25, because that's when your brain is done developing, at that age, you know what you want and if she wants an older man that can keep up with her, then I don't see an issue with that.
Curious perspective. Thank you for sharing. Do you feel there is a "too young" limit as far as dating for anything serious? For example, would you date an 18 year old? I too am in my late 40s and think that 18 might be fun physically but annoying relationally.
@@Ralph2023_1A 18 would be fun physically, "annoying" would really depend on the individual. There are "annoying" like how a lot of online videos like to showcase young girls (think manosphere videos), but there are also mature girls out there that said videos don't showcase at all. But they're catering to a specific audience. That said, would I date someone that young on a "serious" basis. I doubt it. At that age they're basically still kids, they "think" they know what they want, but have no clue, because they haven't experienced life outside of living at home (for the majority), so how could they know. That's why I say 25 after the brain has stopped developing is probably the youngest for anything serious, plus then they've had some life experience, whether through college then work, or just work (if they didn't go to college). They've probably had a relationship or two by 25 and know more of what they like and don't like. Think back to when you were 18 and then think back to when you were 25... Think of ALL the changes, rethinking, life altering events that changed you from a young high school kid into a true young adult, now think if you want to be with someone that is going through that, or wait until they've stabilized. I'm not saying it wouldn't work, I'm sure there are some diamonds in the rough out there. But we're getting older, you need to decide what sort of girl you want to invest your time in. Someone who is still learning life, or someone who has some experience with life and knows more of what she wants through experience then someone who has always lived at home and now is exploring the world and learning who she can be and what she really likes and where she wants to go with life.
But, Magda, what if the people have a very enjoyable sex life, AND, have deep and supportive conversations? In spite of the significant age difference, wouldn’t this be a very good relationship to continue to nurture?
Good video Magda… I live in Miami where most Latinas like men 10-15 yrs older… in my opinion is not the age, but the comparability….. I do agree that more then 15yrs might be a bit too much gap…. Stay in shape & sharp…. She must be compatible regardless of the he difference 🫡
Magda, , I have a question for you? I'm about to date a 42 year old lady, and I'm 72, but I feel like I'm 35. I believe age is a a state of mind. What is your opinion?
As a 36 year old man it really hits you when you go to pick up your 22 year old gf and shes still under the influences of her parents They are looking at me thinking im a creep😂
I don't particularly want a relationship with a younger woman, but women my age (65) just aren't in very good shape. I want to go ski mountaineering, hiking, backpacking, and rock and ice climbing with my partner. I know she won't necessarily be at my level, but I want to share these experiences with her. The thing is, many guys half my age have a hard time keeping up with me. I'm not boasting, it's just that I've lived in the mountains and done this stuff all my life. A 50 year old woman in good shape would probably be a good match, but if they're single at that age, they seem to want some young Chad to ride like a hobbie horse. Women always seem to be considered more mature, but I find they're actually pretty insecure and afraid. I need an 80 year old woman with a 50 year old body.
Im 39 for now, but i intend to do all these activities into my 50s! Yes i agree, how a person takes care of themselves is important. Being active is a big for me. I wouldn't date someone who isn't. It's just a very big part of my life.
I don’t agree with this video. I’ve dated 18 plus. Just because a woman dates a man her Dad’s age doesn’t mean she had a negative experience with her biological Dad. And just because a man is older doesn’t mean he may be going through a mid-life crisis.
I don't totally agree with you Magda! I'm an older man who likes younger women not because they make me feel young. I enjoy the energy younger women project! I won't date woman in my age category because I don't want to hear about there past, the aches and pains complaints, take a pain pill and enjoy life.
No I would not consider it old vs young. I'm going to use you as an example. I have learned so much from your videos and your a young woman. This is what I mean. Two entirely different generations sharing their experiences and learning from each other creating a fantastic relationship. 😊
I use the math formula my age... Say 50 devide by 2 and then add 7... 25+7 = 32. Fyi lost my wife to Alzheimer's, she was 10 years older than me and i was married at 23 (see was 33). Do not want kids or to get married. Interesting, if i use the my experience and get her to climax multiple times in a love making secession, it gets old for meafter 6 months.
You are wrong about the why. Forget about middle age crisis. Men, between the ages of 16 and 90, like women between the ages of 18 to 24, this doesn't change because men get older. This happens because females get older!
15 years younger than me and everything works fine. This is what older women will say bc they know they have to compete with much younger women.
Or they are just bitter. And they are bitter about everything and everyone.

@15multiventure51 Not trolling, but yes I viewed this video hoping to get some insight which I didn't. Hope it did for you.

I wish I would have seen this video a few years ago! Lol. 22 years younger...fun while it lasted but ultimately a mistake. Nice video and spot on.
You are absolutely right been there done that walk away wasting your time they don’t appreciate what love is

I can't convince you to do anything. if you want to do it, you will, no matter what your logic will tell you. so go, do it and let time tell you.
Darling I enjoyed watching your video ❤
