I had a '76 a Lil darker orange than that, I bought when was in high-school. Miss that old truck. I got a '77 C20 I'm working on now. Why I enjoy your vids
If the exhaust just closed, and the intake is just opening, that’s not TDC in relation to the spark. The cylinder hasn’t even taken in a mixture yet. The spark happens at (just before) TDC on the compression stroke. After the intake CLOSES and the piston comes back to the top. Am I missing something here? Seems like in the video you set it a revolution ahead, but there’s no way it would run then.
Im not trying to set it for the spark timing, Just trying to get close to TDC for the intake stroke to mark the balancer at close to zero. The piston is at TDC as the exhaust closes and intake opens. That's the beginning of the intake stroke. At this point #6 is at TDC for the power stroke.
Great Cole lab there fellas, glad she’s up and running better 👊
Ryan my guy

Front brakes only? Sounds like a rear tire torture test 😂
For sure.
Great intro💪✅️
Thanks, that was Jacob's idea.
I just rebuilt the distributor on my 86 and your tdc/balancer @ 0° on timing tab explanation helps for setting timing- ty
Here's a video I did on replacing the dist. That might help too. ua-cam.com/video/nehh879I1CM/v-deo.html
No rear brakes??? Sound like a built-in line lock to me!
Lol
