I really like the magic/tinge mechanic, it’s something completely different to other games I’ve played. I like the calculated risk aspect, I can see there being real variation between how different players will play their spellcasters. Also the ability to oppose an opponent’s spell is very cool
"The babe with the power," and the goblin asks, "What power?" . Jareth answers, "The power of voodoo," and the goblin asks, "Who do?" . Jareth then says, "You do."... Bring on the voodoo, Hoopoe!!!
I don't enjoy games where magic is 'auto' skill. Risk/reward mechanic , playing on the verge of madness , probability of being consumed by madness - well done Corvus Belli! Thanks OnTableTop of providing this content - much needed since there were some questions after reading a rulebook...
Very interesting magic risk/reward system, with magical users "wars" potential. Empower at you own (potential) risk seems like a fun strategic decision!
Magic seems interesting, looking forward to trying it out and seeing all the different spells thatare available. Also keen to see how the scions use the tinge??? They work a bit differently yeah?
Love the Tinge mechanic, adds that little bit of extra decision making. Do you go all out up front for an alpha strike or stay tinge free to load it up in the endgame? Awesome
Any chance that there's a list of the dice and their faces anywhere? Trying to get a handle on the vague odds of these effects. Is it a occasional bit of interest or all chaos, all the time?
Still confused. If I successfully cast the spell I get to cast a ranged attack of ROYY at my opponent, but the switch showed a black "!". How do I get that switch with only the coloured dice, or are the symbols for getting a "!", "shield" etc mean on any dice colour? Thanks for the vid!
I really like the "press your luck" mechanic for magic. Nicely captures the variability/unpredictability of such things!
Rich "in game" turn by turn storytelling with all sorts of conflict outcomes but without complex spell mechanics, this is really good!
Love these videos. I've been sharing them with my local group!
I love the "tinge" mechanic! Such a good risk/reward system
I love how magic is represented in the game. The tinge mechanic is cool and adds depth with a splash of resource management.
The more I learn of this system, the more I like the sound of it. Even in this short video, I feel I have a good understanding of the magic system.
Man, Warcrow just looks cooler and cooler every video!
Very nice mechanics. I like that there is a price to use magic, and the way you can boost your spells. Very cool!

The magic mechanics are really interesting, quite excited to try it out
"The babe with the power," and the goblin asks, "What power?" . Jareth answers, "The power of voodoo," and the goblin asks, "Who do?" . Jareth then says, "You do."... Bring on the voodoo, Hoopoe!!!
I like that there is also a risk that you can take when you cast but the result can be amazing.
Thanks for the explanatory video, the magic system does indeed seem very interesting.
Let the magic begin. Interesting concept of use of magic amd possible magic duel.
Magic is pretty interesting and cant wait to see different units using it.

Yeey Magic! I think it's the first time I see a vid about that topic for WC :) Thank you!
Risk reward in gaming is great! I’m all for this
I'm excited about this magic system!
Very interesting magic risk/reward system, with magical users "wars" potential.
Empower at you own (potential) risk seems like a fun strategic decision!
Im really liking the risk vs reward of magic they are showing.
Awesome mechanics, I can't wait for this game!
amazing vid, sooo looking forwards to this
I like the block mechanic for magic. This sounds like it'll make the wizards a fun addition to the game.
Seems nice, cant wait to try it
Nice, love those explanations
So excited for this game!
Love the content for Warcrow!
Will be interesting to see how important magic ends up being in games.
So other magic casters can counterspell on the fly? What a great representation of magic. It makes the game feel more dynamic and reactive. I love it.
Looks a very interesting aspect
really helped explain the magic system
I love how magic works!
Awesome coverage 😊
I like the risk/reward. Interested to get some games in and see where it goes
Summon the Rock is definitely my favourite spell :D
I am looking forward to trying out the dice mechanic on D8. The switches for Aristeia are very cool. I’m hoping for the same with Warcrow.
I am very curious now about the different mechanics of the tinge for the Scions. Perhaps they need the tokens to fuel their spells.
Interesting looking unit cards.
The tinge mechanic is pretty cool
I really like the tinge mechanic. The more tinge isnt as detremental as it sounds to begin with.
I do like the sound of that risk/reward mechanic.
I like the pleurus spell from the evoker
I also love the tinge concept, but I have to try it a few times to see if it's really playable.
thanks for the video!
I like the way magic works in this universe!
Magic seems interesting, looking forward to trying it out and seeing all the different spells thatare available.
Also keen to see how the scions use the tinge??? They work a bit differently yeah?
So many interesting mechanics in warcrow
Nice mechanics! Magic seem really different than other games
Got Warcrow adventures on order - never played a wargame so I hope the campaign makes it a small step towards the wargame.
Fun rules! loved them!
😀
Excited to give it a try at gencon
Thanks for the video
magic seems very easy to use, this game is getting better and better every day
I want to know more. I like units that have magic and seeing how different they are is fun
Looks like a fun interesting magic system.
Tinge is interesting. Magic as dangerous/corrupting is always fun
Love the Tinge mechanic, adds that little bit of extra decision making. Do you go all out up front for an alpha strike or stay tinge free to load it up in the endgame? Awesome
oooo we almost got Hoopoe to spill the beans!
Love it!
Definitely looks cool
I like the magic mechanics, high risk high reward
I love how exponential tinge can become
Will there be Batrep where we see wizards in action?
yes
Interested to see how this feels on the tabletop
Can’t wait to throw that Evoker on the table!
I am sooo excited about the Tinge, Im all here for the magic with a "price"
The tinge makes it very interessant and cinematic
Keeps looking good
Love the luck of the moment for magic
Go go Warcrow!
I can't believe I didn't think about rules interacting with the turn tracker until now....
So not going for options keeps the caster safe and there will never be tinge on him?
magic appaers to wild in warcrow, i`m loving it.
Really cool
I want to see the Gale Falchion!!!
As a Scion Player, I am hyped about the mechanics. I will kill my minis maybe as often as my opponents' but it will be glorious!
Can a spellcaster cast a spell, while engaged with an enemy unit?
Seems like a very cool system.
Interesting hope the other factions come quickly
lets go warcrow!
05:17 so at 4th tinge , do all units around the mage have to pass WP test twice?
Any chance that there's a list of the dice and their faces anywhere? Trying to get a handle on the vague odds of these effects.
Is it a occasional bit of interest or all chaos, all the time?
What are the odds of getting a tinge point, or the odds of activating the tinge effect. 1 in 8, 2 in 8?
The faces of each die are in the rule book.
It's a kind of magic!
Not a big fan of the custom dice, but gotta wait to give the game a try.
Are there any factions that don't use manic?
Hoopoe's dance is cute and worrying at the same time....
I always like push your luck for extra benefits mechanics.
Magic!
nice!
Winning all the prizes!
Magic going to be huge in game and we know so little about magic users
Nice one :)
Interesting. Though I will follow the tried and tree tradition of geek the mage by using my spell caster to take out the enemy's.
Magic users are always the coolest
Give me some Warcrow!
I hope in the Rulebook are cool Stories about Magic and Tinge. See a lot of Opportunities :D
first or "I have the initiative". we need more infos about the other faction and relase dates
