- Archive footage about the building of the YTV studios on Kirkstall Road, Leeds. Includes v/o by Michael Parkinson.
Extract from Yorkshire Gold introduced by Gaynor Barnes with YTV idents over the years.
I went there three times. Twice with my band, 'The Way', in 87 (Sounds Good) & 89 (Calendar), and the other time to see The New Statesman being filmed (the one where Alan goes to Hollywood)... went for a pint with Rik and the show's publicist/my mate, Shanti, afterwards in the bar.
Thanks for this I absolutely love Yorkshire Television
I remember this being on tv in the mid nineties. Fascinating documentary about the building of the studios in Kirkstall Road, glad that they have been given a reprieve.

What happened to first calendar news presenter liz fox she still alive
All the great things that were produced here and now ITV is reduced to the likes of bloody Loose Women & Love Island, from parts of the country we're not bothered about. Bring back the proper YTV
