He seems much happier now and in better balance with himself, I don’t judge him or disrespect him for who he is or was as a person or mistakes he might have made or the mistakes the other guys in Queensrÿche might have made along the way, we all make mistakes in life, but we learn from it along the way and we move on from that point...
Geoff was and still is a God gifted talent and I don’t care about, that he can’t sing like he used to in the old days and hit those highs the way he used to, to me he still has an amazing voice and is talented as an artist, musician and storyteller and I love and respect that...
The legacy in the music Queensrÿche made with him as their frontman, is in my humble opinion something you can never ever take away from Geoff or the rest of the guys in Queensrÿche, what they did and created together back in those days were magic, genius and incredible (especially from their EP to Promised Land), I will always love those albums till the day I die...
I only wish the best for Geoff and I wish the best for the guys in Queensrÿche, I listen to both because I love their craft of music and I respect them as artists, I hope one day they will be on friendly speaking terms again and I wish the future will bring much more brilliant music from them...
I sadly never got to see Queensrÿche live in their original lineup, that is something that would only be a dream come true to me...

No band will match the brilliance of the original Queensryche. Ever. Tate knows the limits of his voice now and that is what I appreciate.

Geoff Tate is a really great guy. Wish him and also his band mates and former ones much peace and happiness. They've made some great music through the years and continue to do so.

Don’t worry so much about what people like Geof! You are doing awesome with your music still to this day! Keep playing what sounds good to you because you and your band are talented and know you still have it! That’s what make a true musician, singing from your heart and knowing how to put it together in sound and sharing what you put together with your fans. I’m glad your music makes you happy . It makes all of us happy to see you happy😊! God bless and keep up the hard work! Being a musician would be really hard work. I would so totally suck! Hell, I think my dog would rather stick earplugs in when I sing! Lol

I'd buy the album and go see The Three Tremors! Make it happen please!

    just have fun... Geoff
Rob, Bruce and Geoff and jamm'n together and tasting fermented homemade wine... this is Epic,
yes and i say it should be made into a movie or even better a musical ya ya...
i especially like their Epic garage day songs even more,
the ones about which direction the bong should be pasted around the room,
and who would be wise enough to know what day of the week it is... !!! epic :D

Got on board at Rage For Order and listened all the way to Promised Land which sort of lost me. I hear Geoff Tate disparage from Empire on, but honestly Empire was a GREAT album! As were the ones leading up to it. Never even heard The Warning. But it doesn't matter. I know good music when I hear it and they had 3 amazing albums back to back. Not an easy feat!

From my point of view the problem with the band Operation Mindcrime is that from the clips I've seen they are re-interpreting the songs.
Now I know for sure Geoff Tate would not have any problem getting first rate musicians that could easily play the songs note for note as they were originally performed to sign up with him, so I expect this is being done deliberately. Maybe its to suit them better to the way his voice has changed over the years, maybe this is how he would have had the songs done originally if he didn't have to take the opinions of the other band members into consideration, or maybe he just wants to do the songs differently so its not like a competition between OM and QR.
Whatever the reason though, those songs are all so iconic to me that I don't really want to hear Tate's reinterpretations of them...I prefer to hear them the way they were. I suppose this is what he's been wanting to do for a long time and I respect that, but I don't really like it. I suppose thats why I didn't like the OM2 album - From what I've read Tate pretty much wrote everything on that album, and for me it was very different stylistically, was nowhere near as impactful, and wasn't deserving of the name. Wish we fans could somehow force them all into a studio for one to two months along with Chris DeGarmo and have a do-over. Maybe Todd could do the Dr. X vocals - I'd be ok with that.

C'mon... any musicians that really care about their music is going to do it their way....most of them are very head strong about that because the music is their creativity and who they are.

Agreed with the previous response. Most songwriters wouldn't make music at all if it didn't feel fulfilling to themselves. Sometimes songwriting even becomes a necessity for your well being. Choosing to share some of your most personal work with the world for their enjoyment is quite generous when you think about it.
