I saw him in Daytona Beach at the peabody he was fantastic and I'm telling you. His voice is back. That song is so hard to sing and those octaves are ridiculous. He crushed it!!
So you think he's magically better now than he was 10 years ago. As opposed to him using backing tracks properly finally? Hmm. Which seems more plausible? Someone for the first time in recorded history reverses aging, OR they are using technology effectively?
Doesn't get better than this. Geoff said he was home 20 days in 2023, non stop touring, played Dallas the night before and sounds perfect. The other band can't pull this off. Hope he never reunites with them as this band is far better, better show.
Saying those hired guns behind Geoff sound better than Michael Wilton and Mike Stone is delusional as hell. I saw the current Queensryche lineup twice and they sound great and so powerful, Todd sounds great too. There's like 4 guitarists here and it doesn't even sound as powerful as Queensryche. Just because you prefer Geoff, doesn't mean that the rest of his band sounds better.
@@KevinQ1989 If it wasn't for Geoff and DeGarmo we wouldn't be talking about queensryche. Queensryche vibe is not the same. Todd has generic stage presence and isn't nowhere the singer Geoff is. Would be interesting to see how Todd's voice would hold out if they did 5-10 years of actual touring, not sporadic touring, fly dates or many short set festival situations. When Geoff was Todd's age, he'd probably already performed 4x the amount of shows, 1 hr 30 min sets minimal, not just festivals. Also, respect to Sammy Hagar, Dio, Brian Johnson to an extent for being artists that have their own style and not trying to copy the previous singer.
not bad but to many guitarist lol lynrdryche lol i wonder what added effects or on vocals as well as the queensryche band i think both bands have alot of effects on those high notes ,i bet no amps no effets it would sound not so good lol both bands .those vocals were for young guys .but i still enjoy it thanks

this version is actually better than the one from Live Evolution DVD.

Watching from Ireland
Damn. Still has the pipes🤘
1st, he sounds great! The band too. But why the hell are there 4 guitars when you only need 2?! That's gonna cut into the bottom line.

"Queensryche" is playing 30 minutes from me this Saturday. Nope. Would rather drive 3 hours to see Geoff next month!!

@@TX123412 Absolutely agree. Chris DeGarmo and Scott Rockenfield were so underappreciated
"Stake"? jesus.(That diet ad before the Tate video)
OMG. Fricken Maestro!!!
Can’t wait to see him in Albuquerque
What's with the 4 guitar attack??
And they still don't sound as heavy and powerful as Michael Wilton and Mike Stone!
Almost getting into Spinal Tap territory here. "There were only 2 guitarists on the original songs right?" "Yeah, but we've got four guitarists"
@@KevinQ1989 Or Chris by himself...
The Only Voice.... \.../
JHC. It just isn't QR without Tate. I like Tate better than the new QR period. Geoff got it back and he is just shredding
Never seen such a congested stage
It's like Geoff as a guest star at the School of Rock.
I be seeing Geoff on April 10 at Knuckleheads in Kansas City
Only Thing Missing is Three More Bass Players, and at Least One more Drummer!

:25 Do I believe in any way Geoff can do this? No, I do not.
Geoff must be earning very well to afford 2 extra and unnecessary guitar players.
Geoff sounds great..the band not so much IMHO.
