This is beyond my capabilities. Can't I put the update file on a flash drive and plug it in? I have done that and the blue/white arrow shows under about but when I touch it nothing happens
Want to say thank you Don and I see you have the same good taste as me in 3d Printers. (Lmao). I have been having the same bed mesh issue that you showed where the print is real bad on the left side, hope you are doing well!
... I think i stick to the manual, somehow I feel I need to go to engineering class after this video. i really miss the days that one just load a file and press on the update file and expect the new version to be there after. I think you too smart for me.
This is a very great tip....thank you for explanation! I have the same issue for bed and I'm looking for a solution. I went through configuration file, and i found also it loads profile 6....but I think it's the profile to start the calibration with. Then I checked the console logs and found out that it load the correct profile before printing by this command "$ BED_MESH_PROFILE load=11". The issue still the same for me.
I'm not sure if its just me but I have a hard time getting PLA to stick to my Neptune 4 Plus stock build plate. I am not sure if it's PEI in general since this is my first PEI build sheet but the only way I am able to get large print to adhere decently to my sheet is with purple glue sticks. Even then the adhesion is not as good as the glass build plate with hairspray on my LK4 Pro, printing directly on glass. I have thought about buying another PEI sheet but I think I may have the same results. Are your prints sticking well to you PEI sheet? I've tuned my setting to the best of my abilities and my first layer is coming out very even and filled.
Try cleaning your build plate with mild soap and water, rinse, let air dry. Put it back with gloves on to avoid touching the surface, wipe down with IPA99. I set nozzle bed 10% more than requied and heat up for 30mins before I start the print. I only do this with BIG prints I have not used ANY glue sticks.
wow, if u guys have the new one or the the max , they fix some of these issues,.. this printer is worth the time , for the price you get a speed Demon ,, i when thought all these steps, and wow its fast,
My 4 pro keeps failing after about 10 layers. It ends up as a stringy mess. I thinking about reseting it to complete factory config files and everything but im not sure if what the video covers will do that
Does the type of SD card matter when updating the firmware? I know it does on the enders and that's the only thing I can't think that keeps my updates failing
I think it has to be formatted to FAT32 or EXFAT or something i cant remember. I know for neptune 3 pro it was a "TF card" and the usual samsung micro sd cards werent working on it.
Hope youre okay. Have a great week! ❤🙏
Thanks!

@chuy3840 I tried a TF card last night and it still failed. I've ordered a thumb drive. I'm hoping that works.
