- Here is a third video compilation of the UP LOW20 El Segundo Local from Los Angeles to El Segundo, CA. Lately, this job has been using road power in the form of SD70Ms, so I set out on multiple days to chase the train up and down the line. This is a comprehensive chase of the local from 4th Street Yard, down the Wilmington Sub parallelling the Metro Blue Line, and onto El Segundo Industrial Lead to the end of the line at the Chevron Refinery, visiting various locations along its journey. This local only serves three customers; Grain Craft in Central Alameda, Interplastic in Hawthorne, and Chevron in El Segundo. Bonus clips of YJY68 J Yard Switcher switching SA Recycling, and meets with the LOW10 Torrance Local are included. Thanks for watching!

Great coverage of both the Torrance and the El Segundo jobs ! You filmed at a few places that have never have been filmed before. Great coverage of the top end of J yard going towards 9th street, the mill at 55th street, Hawthorne, Wise transfer at ES, the divider switch that is under the 110 and 105 freeway, Slauson wye, the ex SP unit that is now the UP 3793.

Great vid, thanks for posting. At around 8:33, just off to the left there appears to be some abandoned tracks. Did those serve an industry there? It looks like where those tracks are is significantly more elevated than the main or branch lines...
Thanks! Yeah that was an industry, the spur has been abandoned for a while.
Great qualiti
Thanks!
Nice at the 2:15 mark it sure looks like some of that lumber was pilfered off the top of that car especially compared to the other car caring lumber and not surprising, considering where it came out of. Stay safe out there.
