hii it worked on mine! we have the same calculator casio fx-991ES PLUS
Don't press shift and then press mode than press 1 ,This is to remove the mode math😂😂.

Yes that’s fine, you don’t have to change it. Some people just prefer one display over the other therefore, need to be able to switch between the two.

I may be wrong - but I don’t think this model allows for fraction display like I have showed above. This is because it’s a 2 line display calculator.

This calculator is a “2 line display” model, which means it won’t be able to display fractions ‘properly’ 🥲
