How to Change your Calculator from Fractions to Decimals - GCSE Physics

This video introduces and explains how to change your calculators from fractions to decimals and vice versa. Calculators are often set to a default setting where they display answers as a fraction. This is not very useful for GCSE Physics where you should write your answer to an appropriate number of significant figures. Here I show you how to change the calculator settings.

Thank you so much! You saved my calculator. I wonder why I always get fractions when I needed a decimal answer. My classmate told me that I just need to press shift and equal to get the decimal of the fractioned number but everytime i did it, it shows wrong decimal number which is different from the correct answer. There is no need to set your calculator
Just press a button (s D) button that is second last button in the last line
This button just change decimal to fraction and again by pressing change fraction to decimal
