LifeWeaver and Symmetra are friends. They used to study at the Vishkar academy together, until LifeWeaver dropped out. LifeWeaver invented Bio-Light, which acts similarly to Symmetra’s Hard-Light constructs, but can be used to heal, as well as have a more nature-esque design.
I just love Life Weaver for the concept of biolight. Like shields like hard light is already an impossible technology in every sense of the word, but the idea of making biotic light is...if we ever achieve that level of technology as humans, i better never see a tree get cut down again lol. Bio light is just too cool an idea
@aliawahfallacy it's all good. Had to look it up myself just to make sure, but yarp, hardlight molecules have been made. Also, somehow, time crystals made of light is also a thing.
Despite being a shooter, people can still take on supportive roles such as tanking or healing or applying status effects. Its really fun just cause how different it feels from something like apex.
As an actual Thai fan of this game, I'm really glad we finally got what we were promised years ago. They already teased us with a Thailand inspired map on Overwatch 1 Bua really captured how a man like him would be like, as a Thai pansexual person. (Yes, he's canon as a Pansexual, which is a very common preference in our country nowadays.) Also, I like how he try to discover and learn new things, just like how new gen of Thai people always seeks to go outside of their boundaries (or leaving their homeland to study abroad), even though many were forced to think or stay in the old way is the best option. And when these young people succeeded in ganining all these new knowledge and experience, some of them will come back to the homeland to help those who needs, or to improve our way of life. One of Bua skin also represent one of Northern Thai culture as well, the Phi-ta-khon ผีตาโขน (Believes of spirits in afterlife, Northern part of Thailand have a strong belives in ghost and spirit). Overwatch team might be learning a lot about us Thai people lately, and our culture, and how many younger gen people of our nationality will always find a way to seek a better goal. Thailand has been known for keeping things just the way they were, cause of many reasons, as most people who believes in the old way still think that, current state of our people is just fine and there's no need to improve, some even think of going back to being a military controlled gov is better than having to be free like other country.
Love the reactions. This is no exception. Lifeweaver's whole deal is he uses a tech meant to create matter from "hard light." He figured out how to incorporate biology into that tech which was only used to build inorganic things until then.
There's another reason why he seem like he belongs on a romance novel. He was confirmed to be canonical pansexual. One instance we see is an interaction with Baptiste where they seem to flirt with each other. ❤️🔥
His style is similar to symmetra which I believe you haven’t seen much of, she too doesn’t really fit the combat shooter genre either but that’s why their great
I just found your videos recently, and I've been watching all of your Blizzard games reactions, the thing I truly love about you both is how deeply you analize the videos you're watching and how you manage to bring something new and interesting in those thoughts you have, I really apreciate that, love your videos so much!
Lifeweaver was born the middle child of a wealthy Thai family, but his free spirited and rebellious nature was not accepted by his parents. They sent him to the Vishkar Academy to learn discipline. There he became roommates with Symmetra (another hero), and the two became friends. During his time off, Lifeweaver spent his family's wealth to explore the world, only to see how damaged it was. Using Vishkar's technology, he invented Biolight, a form of hardlight that can replicate organic matter, which was a massive breakthrough that Vishkar now desperately wants. Lifeweaver dropped out of the academy and is now on the run, currently wanted in 17 countries with a massive bounty on his head.
Tracer is canonically a lesbian with a girlfriend, which is propably why they used her "Don't worry luv, the cavalry is here" shout on the Pride part. On LifeWeaver, when I first saw the mind I immediately thought that Alexstraza and Abathur hooked up to create somekind of Zerg-Dragon hybrid thing. That could be utterly horrendous or extremely cool, there can be nothing in between.
If you guys would like a little bit more overwatch that's just a short little thing, you should definitely check out the april fools voice lines, they were just small goofy things 😌
So in next season we gonna get a cinematic (i hope at least 10min), so stay tune ❤❤❤ But ofcourse there is a bad news too, Overwatch 2 creaters said we not gonna get PvE game so there is not gonna be a story mode in game any more 😢😢😢
Interesting Lifeweaver fact: His healing “bio-light” was made using Vishkar (the company Symmetra works for)’s hard-light technology. Vishkar claims that because biolight uses their technology, it belongs to them, so they want it back. Lifeweaver is now on the run & wanted in 17 countries! So really, he’s an outlaw 😅
I find it incredibly telling that had he been a female character the response would have been more accepting in general. Instead since he's a dude it's seen out odd or out of place. No hate, it's just in OW you have characters like Symmetra, Junkrat, Roadhog, Moria, and Lucio that don't make a ton of sense without their background. And they are all some of the most beloved characters. I also feel that LW has been a breath of fresh air as a support-main as I've gotten extremely comfortable on him and his gameplay is far more engaging than a lot of the other supports. It helps that his overall design and VA do an amazing job w/o being overbearingly "cheerful" since that in of itself is a fine line like having a character that borders on edgelord.
Woo! Been waiting for this. I'm surprised there's still no Overwatch drink?? Though understandable. I like the fact that OVerwatch I think has a bunch of characters that wouldn't really work or be expected to be in a shooter. I think it's really meant ot be a gathering of people who want change in the world and so the cast is made up of fighters, engineers, doctors, scientists, etc.
Honestly this game is so tainted by Blizzard being, well a giant shady company, which it is but it puts a shadow over the franchise. I mean the whole point of Overwatch 2 was the pve content which they just dropped so now it feels like they just sold Overwatch 1 twice. To be fair, it's free to play so there's that and I know Blizzard for some reason has a huge problem with finishing shooter pve games but in the end of the day, the point of the game failed so all I see is monetization now. Guess that's sinical, but it rubs me the wrong way when companies put out early access stuff like this and never deliver.
He's an interesting character. Unfortunately he's pretty bad in game, not only did he need some buffs to his kit but he does some pretty hardcore trolling to his team even accidentally because his pull ability has about a thousand horror stories online of people using they're ultimate ability on the enemy team and then all of a sudden Lifeweaver yanks them away. Not to mention the people who do it on purpose and pull teammates off ledges to fall off the side of the map.

Am I wrong in guessing LifeWeavire might also be an ally to Mei? Their goals look pretty similar.
No point saying this here? Theyve never met Symmetra.

Isn't hardlight already being studied, with places being able to get tiny hardlight molecules formed consistently?
@@SantosOnFire as far as I was aware, it was entirely fanciful, but idk lol. Just talking from what I know/am aware of

Omg I was just watching your overwatch zero hour video lol

Lifeweaver's uses hard light just like his colleague, Symmetra, although he uses his to create organic constructs, which he calls "Biolight."
i made a joke before he was released about a hero who could throw his allies off cliffs, then i accidentally brought it into existence

please look up the overwatch character interactions there are so many in game

hes like one of the most support supports there are, he isnt a damage person really

I love the inclusion of someone who fights for human equality. He's someone I can relate with and feel much more appreciated and welcomed.
As a support player I wanna like lifeweaver but he is just so weak right now. Hopefully the rework makes him playable
you can do reactions on the new Tekken 8 characters pls ♥️

I hope after seeing this you two are interested in playing.
