Although on piano (instead on an harpsichord), and moreover - thanks to that - Lazar Berman added his beautiful interpretation and personal expression to this programmatic unique Sonata. Bravo. Thanks for uploading.

Thank you, I waited a few days to hear this till I had time. It was worth it :) I've just finished listening to Jordan Peterson's YT lectures on the Psychological Significance of the Old Testament, so this lined up well as a conclusion :)

¡una excelente idea presentar esta sonata tocada en el moderno piano de cola, porque no hace mucho tiempo tuvimos un sermón en la iglesia que trataba este material del bíblico David y el esquizofrénico Saúl! El ánimo tranquilo y contento de Saúl!

Лазарь Наумович, конечно, тут не слишком озадачивает себя автентичностью, выходят в результате такие себе "Годы странствий" на основе нотного материала из 17го века. Но играет он замечательно, так что на жестокий анахронизм перестаёшь обращать внимание на второй минуте и просто слушаешь...
Seems like an odd choice of repertoire for Berman.
Why?
