Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 8th tier of English football, the Isthmian League North. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 4th tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Division 1 South East. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams...and not forgetting our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. @@HashtagUnited I would say for matches where something significant happens like the winner today at the end with backs up against the wall I would have loved to see Dev’s team talk. Doesn’t have to be there every week but todays video really would have benefited from a team talk at the end. Loved it, buzzing with the last second winner, defo deserved the 3 points

My highlights of the game:
- THAT assist from Ben Brookes, inch perfect (good positioning from Alex)
- Jermaine sending on of theirs for a walk in the park, the shops, and the 45th marathon of london, that bad that Bantick had to drop to defense to cover him
- Props to Toby for fighting 90min for very scrappy balls and owning that defender 100%. He didn't want any of it and Toby knew it. Great respect for the attitude and character to keep fighting for those.
- THAT volley from Alex. What a great decision from Devs as well to not sub him and keep him up there for the long balls and the crosses.
All great, good game, suck it bantick, we saw you taking that yellow and calling for a false corner

Have to say I made a comment about teniola a month ago and now after watching him the last month I have done nothing but eat my words. Even when he isn’t scoring his hold up play, winning the ball in the air etc is so effective, what a win boys and very deserved#

WHAT A WINNNNNN, genuinely was jumping around my room when we scored that winner felt good to get it against Grays too and Banno. I commented last game that If he gained some confidence he will be a gun at this level and we’re already seeing it. Also I know he does it every game but how good is Halford, class act.
and I know he didn’t score today but the run of goals from Cornhill was reminiscent of Tom Anderson run a couple years back, new player, midfielder at the time both strong in the air and couldn’t stop scoring each game was a shame to see it end today but glad we got the win that’s what matters most. UP THE TAGS

Appreciate it's an experiment not including Dev's post match team talk on here due to views on that section of the video, but I really enjoyed having that to summarise the game! Hope it comes back onto the videos soon 🙌

I’ve watched every hashtag game since conception and I’ve never seen the sun pelt the camera as hard as it did in middle of the 2nd half.
Yeah it’s a hard one at Aveley and the time made it worse. Very tough putting it in the main stand too when we are the away team.

We aren’t trying to use it to gain members tbh. People weren’t watching them so they’re hurting the performance of the video.
@@HashtagUnited I think there's some parts of videos you'll never get the numbers on. For me, it's doing more harm by not having access to them judging by the comments.
The team talks (particularly post match), are a huge part of the video, the club, the players. It becomes a bit disjointed if we can't ride the highs and the lows in the changing room.
Just a thought, still a big fan of Spen and the lads. Hopefully they come back though!
@@imbuedrambo this is exactly it, I feel like the more casual viewers might skip over them but those who are actually invested in the club and comment week in week out but aren't members due to finance reasons/whatever reason miss out on a major part of the journey. I also don't understand how it hurts the video performance, for example I always skip the start of the video to avoid spoilers, so does that also affect things?
