  • In this video I give you the sights and sounds of the Borla S type exhaust. I did not install the resonator delete because I wanted it a little more tame.

Do you still have the stock resonator? I'll take it

Sounds much better than stock for sure. I did Ford Performance with resonator delete, little louder and throatier, but that's my preference. Mine are chrome too, just need little more attention. Can't wait for your new Shocks with mid perch video because that will be my next upgrade as well. presently have 72k and seems good for now. Thanks for another informative video.....

I would like to hear the Ford Performance exhaust in person. I mainly went this route because it was easy and very cheap when compared to what else I could get right now. Thanks for the support man.

Gen 1 Raptor with the naturally aspirated V8 is perfect. A church parking lot!!

I have a 6.2 in a platinum (Same drive train). Last owner put flowmaster. This sounds much better! I have pipes on each side.

Get some none resonated tips in black. The sound is a little raspy but a lot meaner. I cut the stock tips off the cat back and bolted them on the borla catback.

Have you diagnosed the grinding noise a few seconds after startup? My truck is doing the same and it sounds like it's probably the AC compressor. Also, I have one roundabout on my commute that I cut nearly every day. 🤣

I've always had that noise upon startup, I assume you're right it may be the AC, but I don't feel too worried about it honestly. Everything seems to be running great.

Does the resonator delete come with it or did you buy it? I'm not sure if the S type kits for these come with a resonator delete or not.

I bought it with the resonator delete, but didn’t use the part because I wanted it to be a little quieter

Where did you end up buying new shocks from? Are you going to have your original ones rebuilt?

    • @ShiftedPerspective

Texas Shock Works. They have an exchange program where you send in your old ones and get back ones in similar condition. You can also upgrade the rebuilt ones so I selected Mid Perch and a few other things.
