When you go over by $500 a month that’s actually pretty fixable. I would look at the last 6 months and how much they spent on each category of their budget and she’s where the over spending is happening. Most people could save by cutting coffee, fast food, convenience foods, streaming services, and a few other luxuries. Also if they have 4 kids they should have a big garage sale with all that baby and toddler stuff as their youngest outgrows it all. I just made $1000 having a big garage sale. That’s baby step #1 right there.
I hear you but like mentioned they have 4 kids. They decided to have that many kids but it is still a sucky situation for the family. Cutting costs is a perfectly reasonable thing but with 6 people to clothe and feed 100k can still make things tight. One or both can pick up side gigs to knock it out and I don't always agree with them about selling cars because if you get something different and cheap it's a roll of the dice, they just need to hammer out these debts and getting rid of the car payment is big.
@calinator51 my parents did really well raising seven kids in a decently nice home with just over 100k per year, and two of my brothers are not out of the nest yet. We almost never ate out, except maybe on Father's or Mother's Day after church. We lived below our means and had great lives. They also raised us into our teens with enough awareness to not go into debt for everything that we want (or justify spending by claiming we "need" something that is actually a luxury)
@@lydiamae1727 That is awesome! You have amazing parents and it's great you had such a nice childhood. I also want to mention(I have no idea how old you are) that 100k a year doesn't go quite as long as it used to with the insane prices of everything nowadays but rice and beans beans and rice lol.
With younger people it sometimes takes a while. I know for my wife and I it did but thankfully we’re on the other side of that.
I’d definitely say if it’s possible to sell or trade the car to something paid off or at the very least a significantly lower payment definitely look at that.
I know this opinion may not be popular but IF they can be disciplined and not go back to credit cards it might be worth looking at a debt consolidation loan, even a small one to pay off some of the smaller cards. I did something like this against my retirement which isn’t the best idea but I was able to pay off most of my credit card debt and it was pushed down into a smaller time frame and saving money each month. But you have to get to the point where you aren’t using the cards anymore. That’s the hard part though.
I know it's a saying of Daves but literally beans and rice will cut your bill down. Add some things to it but making the bulk of your meals rice based without meat will cut down that food bill.
They have a house but didn't mention having a mortgage. I would guess their house is not paid off based on their age and finances so they are probably more in debt than what she said

They will be stuck in lower middle class forever even if they get out of debt unless he can seriously increase his income. He needs to be on a path to foreman or project manager.
People having more children than they can afford to support is a major contributor to poverty.
Kids grow up, buying a new car every 5 years will keep you middle class your whole life not kids
People are being so dramatic about the 4 kids. This couple literally makes six figures, people.
There are two moral issues which affect the other here. More kids equals debt, which the Bible commands to owe no man anything. The other moral issue is birth control is abortion. So there’s no win for the Christian in our culture in this economy

Nothing in this call indicates they have an unsustainable amount of debt. $20k car loan on a $100k income is not out of line. $20k student loan to make a $50k salary is not out of line. Yes, the credit card debt needs their immediate attention. My guess? With four kids, their daycare expense is eating up a significant portion of their income. - probably in the $25 - 30k range. Daycare is incredibly expensive nowadays.
So yes, they need to do a detailed budget to figure out exactly where all their money is going. That is a good first step. They didn't delve into the type of construction work that the husband does, but also yes, he can tap into that skill set to earn extra money. In the end, once they do the budget and identify where their money is going, they will most like determine that they do not have to stop their 401k investing, perhaps back it down to the company match.

Kids don’t have to be that expensive. Extravagant birthday parties, etc… Say NO!
I agree that parents should be able to afford the children. At this time of already having the children, what do you suggest they do? Try to give them back? Plus we don’t know their situation as to how they came to have 4 children. They could have a family member pass away and they are now raising the child. My point is your point is not a solution to their finances, it’s just criticizing.
Good for you. Probably more people should start the "one & done" line of thinking.
@sherrybendall5817 Fine, but you can not argue that 4 kids will cost more than 1 or two kids. So many people ignore basic math.
Whatever someone chooses to do, do it with intentionality AND understand the consequences!!
People need to quit bitching about the kids. These are probably people who don’t even have any kids and are probably single and miserable. If people didn’t have cc debt, student loan debt and car debt then 4,5,6, 7 or whatever kids would not be an issue whatsoever. It’s the other debt that takes all the margin away.
Yeah a lot of people are anti-natalist and buy into climate change propaganda as a reason to not have kids. Mindless NPCs
All those debts can be brought under control. Children are permanent and their costs just rise, they don't go down until they leave home. So, yeah, I will keep commenting on people not having more children than they can afford.
@@moimeself1088then let your useless bloodline go away with you
This!!! You can afford kids, you may just not be able to afford your current lifestyle forever once you have kids 🤷🏼♀️
@@moimeself1088 Yes, and the whole purpose of getting out of debt is to free up margin to do things that you would not normally be able to do if you have that debt like for example… have more kids.
Damn! That's another way to think of it..FUNDING 401K WITH CREDIT CARDS. 😂😂
She's annoying
Construction he has to be making more than 55k.
Thank you Lord Jesus for the gift of life and blessings to me and My family $14,120.47 weekly profit our lord Jesus have lifted up my Life!!!

Manchester, after then my family
changed for good. God bless Mrs Anna
YES!!! That's exactly her name (Mrs Anna ) so many people have
recommended highly about her and am
just starting with her 😊 from United States
She is really a good investment advisor.
I was privileged to attend some of her
seminars. That is how I started my
crypto journey
I have heard about her excellent trading
expertise in CNBC news, guess she's more popular
in United Kingdom.
Ken contributes absolutely nothing to this show.
Tibetans women have 2 or 3 husbands tp have more income.... just saying 😂😂
Broke people!!!!!
Interesting point of You!
I respect it though.
I uncreate that decrete for a gazillion times from this family and every family that has been called that!
I DECLARE abundance 💐of all great things.
I declare order. GOD’s guidance and wisdom to manage money and have a vacation with children even if is a road trip and you bring home good .
Woow!!
That’s not very Christian comment!
Sounds like lifestyle creep and a not budgeting problem.
4 kids $100k in South Florida at 28 is going to be tough no matter how they budget. Can't go back in time. Those salaries aren't really competitive so move somewhere cheaper or increasing income are only real sustainable options.
“You are broke people”🤦🏻♀️
this is her debt and not his, she is such a liar. idc if you have to strap a mattress on your back and stand on the corner. you need to live within and under your income. they make a105k a year and 40-60 in debt. cutting up her c/c and packing her lunch instead of $12 coffees and movies and name brand crap. she s only been working for 1 year. this is her debt, she hasnt been contributing to anything but the debt. she is all giggly about her debt. she should be ashamed and not proud of it. i cant stand people like her.
No it's the kids. kids are insanely expensive, even if you go the cheapest route. 4 kids is so much money. All their (the kids) expenses were put on credit cards. Probably pay for childcare too since she's working.
Investing in Roth IRA can be a good choice since they are funded with after tax dollars, your contributions can grow tax-free over time. When you withdraw money from your Roth IRA in retirement, you won’t have to pay tax on it, which will help you keep more of your hard-earned money. I retired with 5 million dollars
If you’re new to investing or have a more complex financial situation, It can be helpful to work with a financial advisor who can provide personalized guidance and help you make informed investment decisions.
That's correct. At first, I wasn't too pleased with my gains compared to my previous performances, I was doing so poorly, I thought I needed to diversify into better assets, so I got in touch with an investment-advisor. That same year, I pulled a net gain of 550k, which is about 10 times more than I average on.
Please who is the consultant that assist you with your investment and if you don't mind, how do I get in touch with them?
The coach that guides me is THILO MOUKOKO, it shouldn't be a hassle finding his seeing that he's actually quite popular, just search his name.
Thanks for this tip. His website popped up on the first page immediately I searched his, I read through his resume and it seems pretty tight. So, I dropped a message & hopefully she replies soon.
4 kids wouldn't be a problem if they didn't have all the debt. The credit card debt alone is a killer. They're obviously maxed out. So they play the game of making minimal payments, but turn right around to max it out again.
Take a hit on the credit score, and stop all payments on the cards except 1. Cut costs, don't go crazy at christmas, and throw everything you can at that one card. Then move on to the next one. Use all that child tax credit to your advantage come tax season, and put it towards the remaining cards. Then tackle the car payments, then student loans. It can be done within two years on the salary they make, and cutting all unnecessary expenses.
I agree and disagree.
Agree 4 kids might not be a problem if they fix up their credit cards an debt but factually you can't say that 4 kids won't cost more than say two kids. Basic math and common sense.
THINK people before you have kids!!
All that extra monthly debt going in circles takes away the money needed for 4 kids. 4 kids is definitely doable on a $100k income, but not with $60k+ of debt lingering above.
its all her debt. I guarantee she wracked up most of the credit card debt.
no it's the kids, 100%. Kids grow like weeds meaning constant new clothes, constant diapers, constant food, constant car seats, kid beds/gates/storage, constant replacing things they broke, constant medications, constant doctor visits, everything...kids are super expensive. If she's working too, they probably pay for a mother's helper/childcare/nanny/etc.
🗽I really appreciate the dedication in each video you post. Despite the dip in crypto, I still thank you for the level-headed financial advice. I started crypto investment with $4,345 and since following you for few weeks now, I’ve gotten $18,539 in my portfolio. Thanks so much *DaleValskov*
I was waiting for … and I am pregnant now.
If she was considering selling the house and not selling the car (33%) of her debt, I seriously question whether she was listening for a month.
15 seconds in and already hear 28 years old with 4 kids already. These people need some caleb hammer to audit them.
Everyone who calls in and more than half the people that comment need some Caleb Hammer and Money Guy
They need to learn about rubbers or birth control.
Every kid is another Taquito 😂
She has a bachelors degree, so should know basic math and set a budget, all you need is a 5th grade education. But people don't want to make sacrifices they want to YOLO, well have fun with that when you're broke in your 60's on the cusp of "retirement"
It looks like in this situation one wants to get out of debt and the other doesn't. If they're both not on board, it's not going to work well. A rollercoaster is fun for a while, but hard to deal with in the financial department if one saves and the other doesn't.
Poor guy, construction is falling off. New filings for home loans are down. Home refi, down. People falling behind, is up. Construction might not be a great option over the next 36 months
That's true but it's offset by the number of people leaving the trade, so there is still a labor shortage.
Dave pretends he’s a hillbilly but then he says your dumb if you don’t get a degree 😂
...aww...you think you made a poiny...
You can't be fixing the problem on one side of the issue and have another sabotaging everything you are accomplishing on the other side. You both have to be on the same page.
THAT IS REAL!
🎯💯
I tried every dollar, it is ok, but boy was it better when I switched to something else. It costs me about $20 a year more than the premium every dollar did, but it works sooo much better.
So who's looking after the 4 kids. We raised our 6 on a very low income, sometimes on no income, often on just a little part time work but there was always a mother at home for them.
🙏🏿Jesus!! Thank you for rescuing me from debt debt
Too many kids is difficult to develop their career and earn more...
100000 with 4 kids now a days is trash they barely probably getting by especially if they have daycare
People still out here having children with cost of living increasing everyday. That’s why she’s house poor. It cost around $200k to raise a child.
I have three children in their early 20s it does not cost that much unless you think you owe your kids everything instagram says you need to give them. Raise your kids like your grandparents did. hand me downs. thrift store and they don’t need a phone or all the other crap people buy their kids.
@@TheNoobstalkeryou had your children when the average rent was $500, gas was around $1.50 per gallon and average cost of a house was around $150k. 🤔
It cost that much years ago. Its much closer to 300K if want more than the basics. That's why we had 1
@@TheSonyExperience raising kids. Not spoiling kids.
@@kurtjames9487 its not spoiling to want more for your children. If you want the absolute basics you can do it for less than 100k but then maybe you don't need kids. We don't need more drones. Have kids when you can give them experiences and give them the best ability to learn and be a productive member of society. Not a future lifetime minimum wage employee
I SAY make more kids 😂🤦♂️.... 4 lol. Lack of BASIC common sense.
