  • Join us for our Erev Shabbat service We will be going through the weekly teachings from Monte Judah. In our Torah portion this week, we follow the children of Israel as they walk out of Egypt, camping first at a place called Sukkot and being led by the Cloud during the day and the Pillar of Fire by night. Upon approaching the Red Sea, the children of Israel find themselves blocked in by the sea on one side and mountains on the other, with Pharaoh's chariots approaching quickly. As Moses lifts his staff over the water, God splits the Red Sea so that the Israelites can walk across on dry land. As soon as they are all across and the Egyptian army is between the walls of the sea, God closes the sea, swallowing up the army! We then learn the first song of Moses-the song of deliverance and praise to God. Once the children of Israel cross the Red Sea, they find themselves in the desert wilderness, where they become hungry and thirsty. Here God instructs Moses on delivering the miracles of water from the rock and manna from Heaven. Finally, Amalek challenges the Israelites. As they continue their travels, the people are attacked by the Amalekites, who are defeated by Moses' prayers and an army raised by Joshua.

    I've often thought that the song of moses spoken of being sung in the book of revelation would be ' the horse and rider are thrown into the sea song . meaning both the egyption army demise celebration and those delivered from the horses and riders of revelation both praise God for the deliverance .

    Judges 5 Thank you Monte for causing me to revisit this Song of Songs ; I now see and share . . a twist . . where Jesus becomes an enemy for our sake ; Lord willing I will have time to make a video on every verse in the chapter
    25 Asked water, gave milk (sincere milk of the word that fills our belly with LIVING WATER); brought forth butter in a Lordly (Large and Worthy) dish.
    26She (Romans) put hand to the nail, and right hand to the workmen's hammer; and with the hammer smote Sisera, (Jesus on CROSS in place of our WORST ENEMY ; AKA : " YE SHALL SHURELY DIE" CURSE ) she smote off his head, when she had pierced and stricken through his temples.
    27At her feet HE BOWED HE FELL (1) he lay down: at her feet he , HE BOWED HE FELL (2) , WHERE HE BOWED, THERE HE FELL (3) down DEAD. (HE submitted to death 3 times 3 days and 3 nights)
    28The mother of Sisera loo ked out at a window, and cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? why tarry the wheels of his chariots?
    29Her wise ladies answered her, yea, she returned answer to herself,
    30Have they not sped? have they not divided the prey; to every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a prey of divers colours, a prey of divers colours of needlework, of divers colours of needlework on both sides, meet for the necks of them that take the spoil?
    31So let all thine ENEMIES (they that consume LEAVEN of PHARISEES) perish, O LORD: but let them that love HIM (Who is HE ?? ) be as the SUN when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years (Pharisee judgement . . . the crimson thread did not turn white 40 years)
    Mal 4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the SUN of RIGHTEOUSNESS arise with HEALING in his WINGS; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

    Good Morning from 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. I just wished to ask what peoples perspectives on churches/synagogues ordaining women? I do believe the lord does use women, when their is a need. To be loving mothers and a help meet/support. Miriam played the tambourine, mary said yes to being the mother of yeshua, Hannah dedication her son, samual to priesthood, Deborah stepping up, and yeshua sending mary magdaline on an errand to se to his brothers he has risen. It says in the law, leviticus 8 that Aron and sons to be ordained, seems to me of male as in the head, as in christs church. St paul, respects women, i do too. Because to promise of the holy spirit is to sons and daughters.

      What do you mean by "ordaining women"?

    • @marymorris6329
      @marymorris6329 8 годин тому

      Well some churches seem to allow women to preach an a congregation. The church of England and Scotland seems to ordain women as elders and ministers, and apply sacraments ie baptism etc. Leviticus 8 lays out the principle that minister of the Word/ was men. Even John the baptist was male, as anninias was male who baptised saul/paul. So it be nice if one could explain the biblical principle of roles of men and women today. Monte was discussing that the Lord uses women. That I do agree with, but as long as it is not against a biblical principle, that ordination on men as in leviticus 8. However, as yeshua states, it's not you speaking, but the holy spirit. And jesus sent Mary magdaline to mass on a message that he risen, so women also also blessed.

      @@marymorris6329 Biblically speaking men and women have both very different and equally important roles. Leadership roles have historically been performed by men only. Though there have been many female advisors to the men. Even today the male congregation leaders take great council from their wives and other women in their life. So even though women are not the head, they have massive influence. I hope that answers your question.
      I would advise to separate from catholic docturine. It is generally against the scriptures. I consider it a false light. As do all that i know within the messianic movement.

    • @marymorris6329
      @marymorris6329 6 годин тому

      It's not catholic doctrine. It's in scripture, leviticus 8. That is not to say that women should be silenced. If the lord has got something to say, then I'm sure women has something to say. I like the messianic movement, but there is not enough of them. In Scotland it's mostly a choice of catholic, baptist, church of Scotland (reformed), church of nazerene, salvation army. To me, it dosent matter what congregation, I would struggle with ordination service of a woman. (In was set out for men leviticus 8).

    • @Old-Path

      @ I didnt explain what i meant well enough in regards to the catholics. What i meant was, i can see that your background is catholic from the language that you use. Ordination, sacrament, Mary Magdaline, etc. I was just warning about the catholic docterine in general. They mix cultures, have many idols, incorporate false mighty ones into the services, and many others.
      Back on topic, women should not hold positions as teachers of men within a congregation.
      Where i live there are not any messianic congregations as well. So i do not attend. There are a few other like minded believers locally whom Adonai has brought together that i study with on occasion.
      Have a peaceful Sabbath

    Women have always been seen and treated as second class citizens in churches, fit only for making the tea/coffee, sandwiches and cakes, and doing the cleaning. Despite how successful we have been in our careers or how educated we are, we are still treated as people of no consequence in the church. This is the reality. There would have been no John or Charles Wesley and their ministries without Suzanne, their mother, teaching them to read (from the Bible) and how to pray. The same goes for many famous preachers - their mothers trained them in the ways of the Lord. I think many church men will be embarrassed when they stand before the LORD because it's they who have forbidden women to teach and preach in the churches. We have many gifts which are freely used in the world but the churches say "no". Just my two-pennyworth. Please don't hate me for saying it. I get enough flack as it is. Thank you. Shalom.
