    The first song is one of the first songs i learned from listening to my Mom sing along with them and hearimg them in Meetings...this song always reminds me of my Mom 💖

    these yankton sioux recordings are tops! some of the best singing ever recorded. classic songs, just an awesome spirit in the recordings. u can hear the harmony and unity of prayer of the congregation in the singing. love it! gracias for posting!

    Y'all c that the INDIGENOUS PEOPLE sing with high spirits n the song's lift many people spirits n a spiritual healing.

    I'm Yankton Sioux my dad is Billy beane from down that way Yankton Sioux tribe but my mom is oglala from pine ridge an I'm just getting into the peyote ways awesome boys an girls

      My mom is half yankton n half rosebud. My Grandpa was Joe Shields Sr and Grandma was Susan Lance Shields. My mom and her parents and brothers and sister are all gone now but these songs keep their memories close..may they all rest in peace.
