Wow my video wasn't in time with what you were talking about and the video was showing Plus that wick you changed still had lots of life left in it The trick is don't replace it, just take a small wire brush and clean the top 3/4" of the wick when you have it raised up
Your welcome just make sure your mantle (glass thingy) is properly seated and it shouldn't be smoking but maybe a little at first to burn all the factory crap off! But be careful don't keep burning it if it continues to smoke!
@@sheilasouthers254 thats a good idea and if it does continue maybe replace your kerosene?? Carbon Monoxide is deadly so be cautious!! thank you for watching and i do hope u are now a subscriber???
Yes replacements are near impossible to find anymore id say last resort amazon or even Ebay maybe companies anymore seem like they just want us to buy new Thanks for watching hope u find the I think its called a globe if that helps...
a little advice would be, do not film in the pitch dark ...build yourself a light and then turn it on when you are near the object you're filming, in that way the audience can see what you are doing
There really isn't too many options as far as wicks go they are pretty standard. I guess just take your best guess of what size you need good luck @lyn lenton
