Except for the background music everything starting from the video works to how everything was told in just 2 mins everything is just excellent.

The book is really amazing, I just finished it in 2018 and it's still a great business book, it teaches you a very clear and precise way of building /improving business models that anyone can understand no matter your background.
Love this - very clean presentation of the basics of the model - Plus I like the animations it really helps me engage with the presentation. If you could do a several follow up presentations of each segment in high detail - now that would be fantastic. Regardless Thanks you so much it's a super useful video..

Man, When this book came out it absolutely BLEW MY MIND! When it illustrated some of the classic business models: A Razor and Blades, A Cell Phone and Contract or Monthly Bill and The classic "Freemium" (Basically EVERY app)... my life was changed. A one page document could teach you more about a business than a 10 page read. Wow. I haven't check the additions or knock offs in awhile... but this really was and still is something special

Because the boundaries of each segment tells what segment have direct influence/dependence on other segment.
For example: your customer segments dont need to know what are your key activities or resources for generating your value. All they need is the channel, to get the value for them.
A good overview of the components. An arrangement in concentric circles would have shown the outside-facing versus the inside-generation aspects. The music is competing with the message rather than setting the stage for it and complementing it.

Thank you for this well explained and very understandable short video of The Business Model Canvas.
But the "Cost Structures" wasn't well explained, i didn't understand it.
Revenue streams is your business' income and cost structure is your business' outgoings. Basically, what do you need to pay for to deliver value to your customers.

This is so nicely made/edited- gotta be honest the Canvas model is just a very plain and boring chart but you made it fun!
The part I require help with is Customer Segments which is the first building block of a business model according to the book. The part that is confusing to me is that it mentions "There are different types of Customer Segments. Here are some examples:" it goes on to list 5 different examples which are 1. Mass market 2. Niche Market 3. Segmented 4. Diversified 5. Multi-sided platforms.
Questions I have:
Are these 5 different examples different ways you can classify different customer segments?
Is the "Mass market" example actually a customer segment? Because it says "business models focused on mass markets don't distinguish between different Customer Segments" does that sentence actually not make it a customer segment since it does not focus on customer Segments?
Could you consider age, behaviour, or geography different types of Customer Segments?
