Oh my Word! This is so me Lenny. I get it all the time and I get an "aura" or "warning" seconds before I pass out or have an NES.

Oh god yes! Flashing lights, sunlight/shadows flicking through trees while driving, fluorescent lights, bright lights, noise, people (lol). Becoming aware that other physical symptoms that I’m experiencing are in fact FND symptoms. Love the disability tag. Thanks for sharing your lived experiences. When mine is starting, my whole body starts buzzing, like micro tremors before progressing.

I've been diagnosed recently. And yes. That's me too. Sadly here in Spain there is not much help from the government health institutions. But at least I know very important stuff now.
Yes. It is not easy. But we have to kelp ourselves, and as you say being kind...Kind. And not being so frustrated why I cannot do this and that anymore...hope you get well. All of you.

I was recently diagnosed with FND and I really appreciate you sharing your experience with everyone. There’s very limited information and personal stories available on the internet. If I wasn’t self conscious I would love to film videos to share my story with others in the same position. I hope you are doing well ❤🙏 Much love from the USA

Omg Lenny this is me!! Thanks
I get sensory overload even at home noisey environments.
My “ warning “ like you have under your eyes I get in my head is a slight dizziness and I know that my FND is going to happen and have an episode.
I find it had when going out with friends as I am normally quite excited and my tremors and everything is going wild and my friends have told me that people stare at me because they don’t understand what’s going on.

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences! Your tips in this video and others have helped me so much! Also you’ve shown me that all of this is very real, and I’m not the only one with these crazy symptoms!

Thank you Lenny. I have experienced this overload but I didn’t connect it with the FND. I’ve watched you for years now and I admire your approach to this crazy situation and you always bring encouragement. Sue

I think about posting a new video every so often.. my FND is in remission now aside from a couple of occasional symptoms it's very stable.

@@Lentilboots Is there a video that talks about how you got FND?

@@B3l0v3d05I haven't actually made one about that. My theories about why I got FND changed over time! I have more ideas now how I got it.

So who are you as from the way your explaining and expressing your words it does not sound like you are qualified to talk

I don't think you are qualified to judge, Tiffany. Personal experiences have value, and sharing experiences help others, like me. Most of us who have had FND for a while have studied enough that our knowledge (specific only to FND) is somewhere more than a primary care provider and less than a neurologist/neuropsychologist.
