I saw Gary at this place call Salutes..in San Antonio Texas..the dude was a real down to earth guy..and he had Mike Keller on guitar..from Austin. R.I.P.Gary
In my opinion the best 3rd position player. So inventive, precise and a knockout tone. As you said, ignored by many but has been one of my favourites for many years. Got to meet him when he played in the UK.

He was a beast of harp...totally ignored by many. Lots to be learned from him.
