I can detail stuff for free so my dads Camaro and truck are after my Jetta, but he's wants his Harley and 1800cc Honda detailed. I want pan to give a full rundown on 1200cc+ bikes
To the non motorcyclist detailers. DO NOT put any dressing, tyre shine, coatings etc on motorcycle tyres. You could potentially cause the motorcyclist to crash causing injury or death! Also test what car detailing chemicals you use on a bike. Metals and some of the coatings (such as on spokes) are very different as to what you find on a car. 😎🤙
Very nice pick up on the scooter, after a month you’ll be needing to get a bigger bike. That’s what happened to me. Got a ‘05 yamaha vino and then after a month and a half i got a harley street rod 750. I still kept the scooter to be able to zip around near our place. Absolutely love your videos Pan 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😀

Usually Brake Buster is enough for wheels and tires but I wanted iron removing capabilities for the wheels so I used the Gyeon Iron Wheel Cleaner as well. No issues using WetCoat on wheels, what ever overspray goes on the brakes will go away as soon as you apply the brakes.

It seeps out slowly, and if you don't keep it topped up its very dangerous when soft.

Hi Pan great video, it's nice to see something different you should do more of these types of videos, the scooters came out amazing I hope you and your girlfriend have a blast on them 👍👍
Hey Pan! Long time Vespa enthusiast here. LOVE that you made this video! What do you use for the leather seat for protection? Can't have a slick seat on two wheels! Also, I've never dressed my Vespa wheels for fear of slippage. Any recommendations there? Thanks again for the amazing content!
Excellent, they look fantastic 👌 Just on washing the leather seats with Mckees shampoos, is it ordinarily a good idea to wash leather with products with surfactants? Was just curious, But great video, and great job, I want a vespa now lol
It’s leather that is meant to be in the weather and you’ll be washing the scooters when they get dirty anyways, so no worries about using a shampoo on that.
Hello Paaaaann !!!
Hi Pan,I'm new to channel. I would like to see what you use for tire dressing vs Dura dressing. So far I am impressed with this production. But always looking for something better. Love your show. Learning alot. Can't wait to see next video.
Nice video very different to see pan standing next to such a small vehicle 😀. Any suggestion on product to use for tree sap and bird droppings removal?
Use something like TarX. But if that doesn't remove the bird droppings, it means you left them on there too long and they etched through the clear coat (bird droppings are acidic in chemistry and can burn through the clear coat if left unattended for too long) you might need to machine polish the surface.
Oh nice touch with the Italian music after the logo =P. And, dang. I didn't know Vespas could look so good.. hahah. I don't see TOO many of those in southern california, but they are definitely practical!! (we have those actual stand up scooters for rent by the minute all over the streets though) *facepalm emoji*

Pan, you’ve had numerous ceramic coatings on your channel. From personal experience, out of ALL of them you’ve tried, which would be your go to? If only ONE were to remain and the others disappeared forever, which one would you keep around?
I have multiple brushes like that lol. So no is the answer. However, I thoroughly rinse my brushes after use anyways, so even if I had rinsed and reused it it would have been perfectly fine. But I am a bit anal for these things and have brushes for interior, exterior, wheels, etc. All that same style Detail Factory brushes, but I keep them separate for each application. 👍🏻

Interesting and informative video Pan, I'm still waiting for my order of the AvalonKing Armor Shield IX which I got via your channel with the discount. In the meantime I've been watching some of your videos and ordering everything I need to do my Merc SLK. I don't have a garage but the car is kept in a large open sided carport so bearing in mind I'm in the UK with our unpredictable weather do I need to add anything over the car once I have applied the Armor Shield? it is possible for the car to get wet if it rains when very windy so does it need a topping over it to protect the Armor Shield while it is curing? if so what would you recommend and if possible maybe you can suggest a product I can get here in the UK. Really sorry for all the questions Pan but ceramic coating is new to me and I want to do it right, appreciate any help, John UK.
Hey John. I've used AvalonKing 4 times now, and you should keep surface dry while applying, and at LEAST 48 hours after. I applied Extreme Solutions Topper after 10 days of AvalonKing curing, and man it looks awesome!
Thanks for the replies guys, I'm sorry I haven't replied sooner but for some reason I never get any notifications from YT of new content. Anyway, I'm in the process of prepping the car, today I've washed it with Chemical Guys Clean Slate which strips all the old wax/polish off the car and applied a fallout remover (Auto Glym Magma liquid clay bar) which turned the car purple, it must have worked as water sheets on the car with no beading. Tomorrow I will be clay barring the car then it's a polish with an electric polisher, I wish I could do more each day but even though I'm only 60 😲 my health problems wont let me which is very frustrating. John UK.
@@kimnewling5728 ok will do thanks for taking an interest, when I was younger I used to do this in a couple of days but back then we didn't go into as much detail or had the products that we do now, looking forward to seeing the results as this is the first time I have use a ceramic coating.
This is not a channel to see dirty cars and bikes being washed. This is a proper detailing channel for enthusiasts and professionals that keep their rides clean and want to take their detailing game to the next level.
Hey Pan have you seen the new Koch Chemie W0 01 sealant-infused Hand Wax? Looking into trying it out myself seeing if it should go in my arsenal for a high end wax
Just saw a 3 year old vid you did. It was regarding rinseless wash never needed till now. After drying you used a toper (Optiseal) Can I use Last Coat in its place??
I am confused after reading your question. It depends what protection you already have on your vehicle. If it's a ceramic coating, then you would use a silica spray sealant as a topper. But not after each rinseless wash. After each rinseless wash, you would be better off using a drying aid that boost gloss and slickness like Topper: amzn.to/3ihX4y9
@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks for replying. No ceramic yet but a review you did introduced me to Brian at Apex Detailing. We have have spoken, he's only 45 min. from where I live. Saving up for full detail of rare and pristine 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT8. Thanks for all you do.
not sure if you can get the classic liquid glass polish (glass meaning the look of it) and has been around a long time. people seem to be big fans. advance auto sells it in the USA. its a metal can with a red corvette on it. ty
Everything is wrong about that. This is a detailing channel, where we do things the right way. To clean, enhance and protect the surfaces of cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, RVs, etc.
There was absolutely no need for that as the bikes were brand new and were barely even dirty. And I also happen to know what I'm doing so zero scratches were made here.
Salut pan !
Can Coat peut durer 10 à 12 mois.
Durability update and a deeper explanation for motorcycle purposes and products mabey too also main question is for gyeon wet coat for the rims on sport bikes and bikes in general... isnt it dangerous for traction?
It doesn't matter. It goes away by friction as soon as you apply the brakes. Just like it would on car's wheels. This is a trick known to many detailers to help coat wheels without doing a full wheels off service, and makes the wheels much easier to clean during maintenance washes.
That would be correct. Here's the law from the SAAQ themselves: saaq.gouv.qc.ca/en/road-safety/modes-transportation/moped-scooter/what-the-law-says?token=864&cHash=a1bb30b21891903885c747e6b6ffb10b

Actually, quite the opposite. Just like a new car. A new car is never new until it's properly detailed: - at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example. - vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc - vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements - at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches - at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat. I explain all of this in this popular video: ua-cam.com/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/v-deo.html So you can better visualize the new car prep process, here are the steps I perform on a brand new car from two of my customers: Tesla Model Y: ua-cam.com/video/gohks8xP5NY/v-deo.html Porsche 911 Carrera: ua-cam.com/video/2ckiivbFqs4/v-deo.html
Nice. Matching scooters are definitely a better idea than matching tattoos or a girlfriend's name inked on your body. While Vespas can last a long time, tattoos are pretty much permanent. Oh come on, it's a joke! I wish I had a girlfriend who likes to ride enough to have her own scoot. *Edit: Although of course it would be nice if she washed & detailed her own ride.

Hey Pan! Long time Vespa enthusiast here. LOVE that you made this video! What do you use for the leather seat for protection? Can't have a slick seat on two wheels! Also, I've never dressed my Vespa wheels for fear of slippage. Any recommendations there? Thanks again for the amazing content!
I use good leather protectants that don't leave a greasy residue. Here's a good one: bit.ly/3hczVPx
My 2020 Honda Monkey with a bunch of upgrades is lucky to get a rag wipe down
Excellent, they look fantastic 👌
Just on washing the leather seats with Mckees shampoos, is it ordinarily a good idea to wash leather with products with surfactants? Was just curious,
But great video, and great job, I want a vespa now lol
It’s leather that is meant to be in the weather and you’ll be washing the scooters when they get dirty anyways, so no worries about using a shampoo on that.
Nice video Pan 😊👍
Thanks Roy!
Hello Paaaaann !!!
Hi Pan,I'm new to channel. I would like to see what you use for tire dressing vs Dura dressing. So far I am impressed with this production. But always looking for something better. Love your show. Learning alot. Can't wait to see next video.

Pan with the Italian musical theme 👌👍
;)
Don't forget to show ceramic coating on a motorcycle helmet and visor! Very good against bugs, only need water to remove them after 😊😊
Hehe yeah I did ceramic coat both our Shoei high end helmets! :)
Hi, how about doing detailing on a bike with chain?
Exact!
The trickiest part is reaching behind front fender panel and under the steering (especially on any motorcycle that has undetachable body like vespa)

You will soon find out in my upcoming 2021 car detailing products awards video!

Gracie mille William!
😍!!! You don’t know how much I love the new Disney movie Luca!!! So this one is special
Cool!
Did you use the same brush on the wheels and on the paint?
I have multiple brushes like that lol. So no is the answer. However, I thoroughly rinse my brushes after use anyways, so even if I had rinsed and reused it it would have been perfectly fine.
But I am a bit anal for these things and have brushes for interior, exterior, wheels, etc. All that same style Detail Factory brushes, but I keep them separate for each application. 👍🏻
Hello Pan what is an affordable good pressure washer to buy?? What qould you recommend give me 2 choices. Thx .
Watch my video where I talk about a good car washing basics kit including good value pressure washer here: ua-cam.com/video/IuiQpiwDOrM/v-deo.html
So pan 1700 k cube or 1700 k pressure washer does it matter therecarex2 different ones
BTW dnt mean to be a pest. I think your videos are Top Notch just recently found you in the neck of time.I will be buying products now to up my game.I was never into buying new vehicles but just recently purchased a 2021 Chevy Traverse Rs for wife. And a new 2020 Audi A5 for myself( retirement gift) so now want to try and take care of these vehicles. Any recommendations for sealant for wife's Suv??( Southern Calif) appreciate your input.Thx Pan.

Merci pour tes vidéos toujours « au top ». 15 products to clean and protect a Vespa ?
And this is me going "light" on the products haha. This is a car detailing channel, I show my viewers how to do things the right way.
Well said Kim!
John UK.
@@JohnWD40TC02 ok good. Take your time. No point rushing. Even the younger detailers take breaks. Keep us updated on your progress and what you used.
@@kimnewling5728 ok will do thanks for taking an interest, when I was younger I used to do this in a couple of days but back then we didn't go into as much detail or had the products that we do now, looking forward to seeing the results as this is the first time I have use a ceramic coating.
Could you actually use a dirty bike to clean? Didn't see any difference on an already clean bike
I saw a video on The Rag Company’s channel, but I haven’t tested it yet.
I wanna know about the radiating heat that comes off of motorcycles
??
What seat are you on ? Is there a purchase link for that ?
That exact model isn't available at the moment, but there is one almost identical here: amzn.to/2WUpGVZ
not sure if you can get the classic liquid glass polish (glass meaning the look of it) and has been around a long time. people seem to be big fans. advance auto sells it in the USA. its a metal can with a red corvette on it. ty
would like to see your review of it.
Ridiculous. What's wrong with a bucket of warm water, washing up liquid and a sponge? Lol
Everything is wrong about that. This is a detailing channel, where we do things the right way. To clean, enhance and protect the surfaces of cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, RVs, etc.
Great video..why no 2 bucket method? Not worth the hassle maybe?
There was absolutely no need for that as the bikes were brand new and were barely even dirty. And I also happen to know what I'm doing so zero scratches were made here.
Salut pan !
Can Coat peut durer 10 à 12 mois.
A bientôt
Hi pan how about a scooter update?
In what sense?
Durability update and a deeper explanation for motorcycle purposes and products mabey too also main question is for gyeon wet coat for the rims on sport bikes and bikes in general... isnt it dangerous for traction?
Does anyone know what can be used to protect matte paint on a scooter?
bit.ly/3C6Tqz6
They look much easier to do than a Harley Davidson full dresser
LOL for sure! In total, this entire process only took 2 hours.
love the Vespa's...enjoy the week's you can use them up in the Great White North...lol...and p.s. marry that girl already....
Bellissimo
Gracie mille!
😍😍😍
Silicone spray right on the brake rotor probably not the best idea ?
It doesn't matter. It goes away by friction as soon as you apply the brakes. Just like it would on car's wheels. This is a trick known to many detailers to help coat wheels without doing a full wheels off service, and makes the wheels much easier to clean during maintenance washes.
Next you should detail a MOPED CAR😂. "Car" that have naturally aspirated 4-6kw tractor engine and top speed limited to 45km/h (~28mph)
So you're telling me that I dont need a motorcycle license in Quebec when the engine displacement is 50cc?
That would be correct. Here's the law from the SAAQ themselves: saaq.gouv.qc.ca/en/road-safety/modes-transportation/moped-scooter/what-the-law-says?token=864&cHash=a1bb30b21891903885c747e6b6ffb10b
@@PanTheOrganizer thank you Pan! I will look into this and finally get the chance to drive a 2 wheeler before I get a motorcycle license

Brand new Vespa not needing all that.
Actually, quite the opposite. Just like a new car. A new car is never new until it's properly detailed:
- at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example.
- vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc
- vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements
- at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches
- at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat.
I explain all of this in this popular video: ua-cam.com/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/v-deo.html
So you can better visualize the new car prep process, here are the steps I perform on a brand new car from two of my customers:

How did you know I bought a freakin scooter?
:) What did you buy?
Second
