    To the non motorcyclist detailers. DO NOT put any dressing, tyre shine, coatings etc on motorcycle tyres. You could potentially cause the motorcyclist to crash causing injury or death! Also test what car detailing chemicals you use on a bike. Metals and some of the coatings (such as on spokes) are very different as to what you find on a car. 😎🤙

    So im relatively new to the detailing world and im curious about these ceramic finishes. I found your channel because I have a cpl motorcycles, and my detailing processes take all day per bike. With the ceramic finishes, you said no wax afterwards. What is involved to do a mainteance wash after they are covered in bugs? Also....do you use chrome polish during maintenance cleanings afterwards? So many questions. Can you do a few videos on Bike specific processes please.

    Is there a purpose of using 2 wheel cleaners on different parts of the wheel? Will spraying wet coat on the brakes affect braking performance?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  3 роки тому

      Usually Brake Buster is enough for wheels and tires but I wanted iron removing capabilities for the wheels so I used the Gyeon Iron Wheel Cleaner as well.
      No issues using WetCoat on wheels, what ever overspray goes on the brakes will go away as soon as you apply the brakes.

      @@PanTheOrganizer Here are a few recommended upgrades: Get a Stebel horn. The default horn is embarrassing. Oxford heated grips for the fall/winter. The top case is a great addition for the helmet/groceries but a bit pricey to get a colour matched one. Also, make sure you always check the back tire pressure. It seeps out slowly, and if you don't keep it topped up its very dangerous when soft.

    Best to use on motorcycles is Muc off motorcycle cleaner ,spay on rinse off, then degrease with ipone chain cleaner or kerosene to clean the chain and rear wheel, mit wash, leaf blower to dry, Turtle wax ceramic spray wax to finish off, sc1 for the black plastics and it will be like new again, all affordable easy to find products and the whole job should take no longer than 1 hr so spend more time riding than cleaning

      Use something like TarX. But if that doesn't remove the bird droppings, it means you left them on there too long and they etched through the clear coat (bird droppings are acidic in chemistry and can burn through the clear coat if left unattended for too long) you might need to machine polish the surface.

    Interesting and informative video Pan, I'm still waiting for my order of the AvalonKing Armor Shield IX which I got via your channel with the discount. In the meantime I've been watching some of your videos and ordering everything I need to do my Merc SLK.
    I don't have a garage but the car is kept in a large open sided carport so bearing in mind I'm in the UK with our unpredictable weather do I need to add anything over the car once I have applied the Armor Shield? it is possible for the car to get wet if it rains when very windy so does it need a topping over it to protect the Armor Shield while it is curing? if so what would you recommend and if possible maybe you can suggest a product I can get here in the UK.
    Really sorry for all the questions Pan but ceramic coating is new to me and I want to do it right, appreciate any help, John UK.

      Hey John. I've used AvalonKing 4 times now, and you should keep surface dry while applying, and at LEAST 48 hours after. I applied Extreme Solutions Topper after 10 days of AvalonKing curing, and man it looks awesome!

      Thanks for the replies guys, I'm sorry I haven't replied sooner but for some reason I never get any notifications from YT of new content.
      Anyway, I'm in the process of prepping the car, today I've washed it with Chemical Guys Clean Slate which strips all the old wax/polish off the car and applied a fallout remover (Auto Glym Magma liquid clay bar) which turned the car purple, it must have worked as water sheets on the car with no beading.
      Tomorrow I will be clay barring the car then it's a polish with an electric polisher, I wish I could do more each day but even though I'm only 60 😲 my health problems wont let me which is very frustrating. John UK.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  3 роки тому +1

      I am confused after reading your question. It depends what protection you already have on your vehicle. If it's a ceramic coating, then you would use a silica spray sealant as a topper. But not after each rinseless wash. After each rinseless wash, you would be better off using a drying aid that boost gloss and slickness like Topper: amzn.to/3ihX4y9

    Salut pan !
    Je suis bloqué sur quelques chose et j aurai bien besoin de tes lumières.
    Donc voilà mon père possède une mercedes e55 amg w210 de 99 avec la couleur bleu foncé . Mon frère lui a fait un gros lavage carrosserie avec prélavage,lavage,decontamination manuel + chimique,un léger polissage car peinture quasiment neuve ( a peine 6 mois et dors dans un garage ) .
    Une fois le polissage fini , passage du GYEON PREP . Et il a fini avec GYEON WET COAT .
    J avou que c est pas mal du tout . Mais j ai envi de pousser la protection un peu plus loin . Comme tu sais en France on est un peu à la traîne pour les bon produit de detailing . On vient juste de recevoir les 2 wax . La wax en tubes de GYEON et la TURTLE WAX CÉRAMIQUE GRAPHENE 75TH .
    Laquelle me conseillerais-tu par rapport à la couleur foncé du véhicule ?
    Et ai-je besoin de faire un shampoing hard pour éliminer le WET COAT ?
    Merci à toi

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  3 роки тому

      Salut Nikola! Le Gyeon Wet Coat est bien, mais il aurait du au moins utiliser Gyeon Can Coat qui est plus durable. Wet Coat dure en moyenne 2 à 3 mois. Can Coat peut durer 10 à 12 mois.
      Dans ton cas, si tu veux pousser le lustre encore plus loin, vas-y pour le Gyeon Wax en tube, qui est une bonne compatibilité du point de vue chimique. Tu peux l'appliquer directement par dessus le Wet Coat déjà existant.
      Et si jamais tu veux éliminer Wet Coat, seul un polissage à la polisseuse le fera. Tout produit à base céramique ne peut pas être enlevé simplement par lavage. C'est le but de la protection céramique: être plus durable qu'un cire carnauba conventionnelle.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  3 роки тому

      It doesn't matter. It goes away by friction as soon as you apply the brakes. Just like it would on car's wheels. This is a trick known to many detailers to help coat wheels without doing a full wheels off service, and makes the wheels much easier to clean during maintenance washes.

    Brand new Vespa not needing all that.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  Рік тому

      Actually, quite the opposite. Just like a new car. A new car is never new until it's properly detailed:
      - at the factory, the paint defects are often corrected quickly by rotary polishing which can leave marks and holograms, so polishing corrects those, before you lock that in long term with a ceramic coating for example.
      - vehicles are then transported by truck, train and boat so they are exposed to the elements, industrial fallout, brake dust, rail dust, etc
      - vehicles are often left at boat docks (when transported by boat) or in exterior parking lots for weeks or months, again being exposed to the elements
      - at the dealership, the vehicles are almost always poorly prepped using the same dirty water that was used for all the cars on a given day, and poor washing and drying methods leading to swirls and scratches
      - at the dealership, a layer of cheap wax or paint sealant is usually applied to attempt to make the paint glossy prior to delivery. It's crucial to remove any previous protection before you apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond directly to a virgin clear coat.
      I explain all of this in this popular video: ua-cam.com/video/QgoyrC-5CMc/v-deo.html
      So you can better visualize the new car prep process, here are the steps I perform on a brand new car from two of my customers:
      Tesla Model Y: ua-cam.com/video/gohks8xP5NY/v-deo.html
