Thank you so much for this video it really helped me. We have just recueved our son's new wheelchair adapted Ford trsnsit from the company that do the adaptations. I rang our local Ford Garage to ask if I could pop in and someone talk me through the steering column controls. I was asked Did I buy the car from them. To which I replied no and explained situation with car being a specialist car and not coming straight from a dealer but the company. I was told no they couldn't give me the time, but could email thr manual. Eventually I was offered a 5 minute slot.
I did keep saying but your a Ford garage and I have a Ford transit.
My husband found you on u tube which I used as I could stop and start it and go back. So I cancelled the Ford Garage.
    Thank again ut was brilliant

You're welcome, glad the video helped! And wow.. it's wild that the dealership wasn't willing to help out even though you didn't buy it from them. Good to know that your husband came across these videos!

Hi Steve! I looked at a new 2023 Transit 250 148' Medium roof and could not locate where to turn off the cargo lights (neither could the sales rep). The rectangular button located between the seats in the head area didn't work. I looked around the cargo area with no luck. Ideas?
Thank you for these awesome tutorials 🎉❤

Look by the back doors, on the right or left you'll see a black rectangle (it's a button) that should let you turn the light off

I have a 2023 custom and when I change options on the digital dash, like changing the speedometer to the round dial it resets, as do other options when I lock and leave the van for a while.
Is there a solution to stop this from happening?

Is the regular cruise control standard with the transit.

It is in the Passenger XLT, otherwise standard cruise is optional

Ok thanks. I ordered the sync 4 with blind spot assist. I read on the usa site that cruise is included with that package. Is it true for the canadian market as well

I’ve got a 2021 transit with the same steering wheel and my ok button has stopped working how do u fix that ??

    • @CarsWithSteve

If it's just the ok button there could be a wiring issue. But quick fix you can try would be fuse and battery pull first. Otherwise you'd need to take it in for service

How do you show the total mileage of the vehicle? It will only show me the trip counters

Assuming you have the same setup that's in this video.. you can see the total odometer on the top left side of the screen. For reference this one has 22.6km

The digital screen above the steering wheel is black how do you reset it

If restarting the vehicle doesn't do it there could be a module or wiring issue so it'll need to go in for service
