Furthering Hyderabad’s development path and infrastructure, a 2.8-km-long steel flyover is coming up at the busy RTC X Roads. The project is expected to be completed by may, 2023.The steel flyover will be longest such facility in Hyderabad and works are on at a brisk pace. Though work commenced in January, 2021, the project gained momentum after the second Covid wave.The project has been taken up at a cost of Rs 356 crore. It will be a four-lane elevated corridor with a width of 16 metre from Indira Park to VST Junction and pass through NTR Stadium, Ashok Nagar and RTC X Roads.
According to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), almost 95 per cent of the brigde’s foundations have been completed. The construction works of the remaining foundations will start once GHMC diverts underground utilities which is expected to be completed in two months.
Apart from ensuring hassle-free traffic, the under-construction steel flyover will help motorists skip four junctions to reach Lower Tank Bund. After finishing works from Indira Park to VST Junction, GHMC will begin the construction of the three-lane bidirectional flyover from Ramnagar to Baghlingampally. This will be built at an estimated cost of Rs 76 crore.

Same here Laxman garu,all my childhood spent in Kavadiguda every weekend with my went to movie at RTC X roads, very attached, 6 yrs back moved to Manikonda, I went to Personality Development class in R.K mutt,when ever I feel down spend time in RK mutt meditation hall,im very much influence by Swami Vivekananda book, at the age of 12 my first book read by Swami Vivekananda, now a days every 2 months I meet my friend in Padmarao Nagar, I go via RK mutt road, Kavadiguda and Musheerabad.. I have loads of memories bound with that area.

This will be a superb flyover. 2 kms long, will avoid so many junctions and take us straight all the way to Vidyanagar.

I think the only usage of this flyover be like to remember, cherish and boast about our memories.. Inter college in Narayanaguda, Degree college in Domalguda. Stay near hostels in Chikkadpally, Nguda.. play or jog in NTR stadium, wander on Tankbund, walk or talk in Indirapark.. movies in X road.. meditate, English or Foreign language in R.math.. Biryani from Bawarchi.. coaching in RC Reddy.. acting/studying hard in central library.. stay in Osmania frns hostel rooms.. some treatment in DD hospital.. shopping in near by Koti.. attending seminars in RTC Kalyanamandapam, Sundarayya Vignanakendram.. Talking about Cool building Bus bhavan, VST..

Someone saying slow progress,dude look into this it's not just normal bridge or flyover it's steel bride . Even LT metro took 2-3 months to construct steel over railway before that think about foundation and pillars.

Currently district traffic coming from
Medchel ecil ghatkesar cherlapally has to travel in full traffic area of begumpet Or rani gunj to reach mehdipatnam
And traffic from vijayawada, dilshuknagar, lbnagar, amberpet is forced to use narrow 2 lane roads of malakpet and koti to reach mehdipatnam. It will create signal free corridor to both
How it would help medchal traffic to reach mehdipatnam without using begumpet road

Government should seriously consider Mehdipatnam bypass flyover. For people going towards Gachibowli, Hitech City and other IT office, Mehdipatnam is an unnecessary choke point.

This flyover is a VIP flyover. It is made to support easy traffic conjunction towards new Secretariat.
I have been listening to the same dialogue from my childhood. People said the same thing when they built punjagutta flyover. Can you imagine punjagutta without a flyover now? Do you want them to build a secretariate outside the city?

Politics apart, We should definately appreciate TS government, They are trying to improve the infrastructur everyday. We are suffering a lot in Bangalore due to ill planned roads and bad traffic management,
Pocharam infosys route should be taken care, it is the worst. Even traffic rules are not followed and police is not active to control.

I stay at RTC X roads, it lost the charm because of steel flyover and all the road side shops will lose business. By the way there was no need of this flyover. Its just useless.....road widening would have been enough and also lot of trees were cut down because of this flyover
