I've always had certain curiosities about the work of a mangaka, if you could answer I would appreciate it: On average, how long does it take to make colorful art? How long does it take to create a complete page? How long does it take in NAME (storybord)? Do you have assistants? And what is most important when making a quality manga? I'm a big fan of your work.
It takes me two to three days to draw a color illustration. Each page of a manga takes approximately 3 to 6 hours. The name will take about a week. There is one assistant who removes dust from scanned images and adds screentones. I think the important things in drawing high-quality manga are patience and curiosity about people and the world.
@@kwbrtk wow, this is incredible! I think there are a lot of manga artists who work in an analogue way these days, there is a charisma that I don't know how to explain. I would particularly like to be a mangaka, luckily in the last four years there have been many initiatives here in Brazil for future artists... I have big problems with the storyboard, so I leave a pile of mangas by my side for reference, and the Yours is there, especially in terms of scenery, it is one of the best. I won't switch to fully digital unless my art materials are no longer produced. For me, painting is not only about the finished product, but also about the act of drawing itself.
