Thanks for de video! do I need those crossmember braces? My tacoma doesnt have the drive side one, in you video looks like the new skidplate is bolted to the frame directly not to the crossmember brackets but Im not sure. Thanks again!

Hard to tell and has been a while. As far as I can tell it was a direct bolt on on my truck. Sorry.

are you able to access the oil drain plug?

Yes. Plug is in same location for both gens. The filter access cover is not needed.

The appear to be inserts, not painted.
