Regis ,the funiest the kindest .a great man
Man these two would have been great on a show together
20 years later this interview still scares the shit out of me
Why is it?

Damn! Dave had to get emergency surgery the next day because he completely failed his tests and was at an almost complete blockage.
I remember this. Letterman almost died a few days later. It was a big deal.
I’ll bet Regis felt terrible for making light of this on air after it got very serious for Dave the next day.
Dave apparently was on anti depressiva. He was hyping like there is no tomorrow.
Is this the day letterman had his surgery?
It was the next day. This was taped on a Thursday and surgery happened Fri morn
