Nice video, brings back memories of running a Deere 648D, except we had a delimbing gate, and had to push every pull with the skidder through the gate to delimb it! Was slow and a lot of work, but I sure enjoyed it, but still was glad when quitting time rolled around!

We ran dual Prentice with delimbers n bucks like that , had extendable down riggers . To move we just snatch em with the 748G . Then had 2 duece n a halfs with a 5th wheels shuttleing trailers in and out all day so all drivers had to do was drop n hook . Each truck would get 35 loads a week like that on a 60 mile round trip . Thanks Tater 👍

The difference in the production of this style of logging equipment vs using the track equipment that TDK uses is amazing. Granted the terrain and the type of timber being cut are notable factors. Great video.

    Good Morning Mr. Tim,
On that JD Cutter they had tracks or chain things on the front wheels.
Question...Is there a reason they only are using the track/chains on the fronts and not on all 4 tires?
It seems that it would be better to have them on all 4 tires. But I could be wrong especially since I haven't a clue of what I am talking about....lol

Tim,watch ur stuff all the time bro, even the videos I've seen already, lol,i know to each is own, but, now I see why y'all spend 700 grand on Kevin's track cutter,he is more productive especially in steep ground like that,he could stay in one spot cut 4 or 5 trees and swing and stack them and make it easier for the skidders,ur loader and the track processor are just more productive, but I guess the trade off is ur equipment is a hell of alot more expensive and cost more to repair, but like u said it took y'all years of busting y'all tail to get what y'all have, doesn't come overnight, cool video to show different types of machines used in different ways, thanks for the time making ur vdeos...I wonder if they ever considered buying the track cutter tdk traded in?
