The dude was mild-mannered knew what his job was led his team to multiple championships and became arguably the greatest power forward in NBA history. Why people still seem to think he doesn't rank in the elite of the elite kind of blows my mind considering how great he is. They call him the big fundamental for damn reason. I'm happy to hear Demarcus ( Aka boogy) give Duncan his props. Demarcus was a beast himself but Duncan from the time he was drafted by the Spurs he was a instant impact. I can't even explain the happiness he gave me with his basketball play from 1997 till 2017. He was the real deal. Passionate, fundamentally sound. He could score all kinds of ways. Bank shot, pull up 15 footer, floaters, spin move bank shot, drive to basket for a dunk. assist, block shots, he didn't shoot a lot of 3s but when did he was pretty accurate. If there was a game that had to be won to win a championship and Tim Duncan said we're winning the game you better believe it. He was just so confident in his team's ability to get the job done. Tim frustrated a lot of centers and power forwards trying to guard him because he was that good. I remember KG ( Kevin garnett slapped Tim Duncan on the back of the head because Tim was giving KG that work but after the game it was all love. KD was just frustrated Tim was out working him. I can go on and on about Duncan as he is my favorite player and I'm a long time Spurs fan since 89. I'm 45 and I'm happy to say Duncan is the best power forward I watched play and there are some great ones no doubt.
