My gran died about five years ago and she always said she wanted my sister and I to sing at her funeral because she knew we sang in the choir and could belt. On the day of her funeral I sang this hymn, neither my sister, mum nor cousin could muster the strength as they were gutted. But some how when the hymn started and I quivered with the first two words I knew. God had somehow given me the strength to sing all the verses without a quiver. I stood there proudly, by myself and found comfort in her being at home by His side and watching her grand daughter fulfilling her wish. When that last note left my lips and the tears rolled but I found comfort and to this day this hymn brings comfort.

Even if I am no longer a member of the NAC I can't stop listening to that kind of music they play in this church. It was ever since a part of my life and it will allways be. I marvel to the awe and the humbleness in which the nap christians in South Africa performe their songs and music. This is worship as it should be! And someone said one: God lives whithin the worship of his people. Thanks for sharing and keep going!

Wow what can I say proud to be nac.... This is my life listen to my nac choir hyms etc. Wherever I go if I travel with my students, my family and friends. They will never tell me to turn it off. You know why. It's caress my soul... It gives me peace... It put the calmness in my soul as well. Sometimes I wonder do you get nac members that listens to it. Little people of today speaks about God... They strive for earthly things etc. As long as I live a served my God with dignity... With my whole heart and soul.
