Btw 1st!
just what i needed
Appreciate the work
Why can't we use villagers we have traded with before? Thanks!
@you make me bored As soon as you have traded with a Villager it locks in the trade so it cant be changed..
Instead of breaking and replacing the lectern, use a sticky piston with a lever on it to move it back and forth one block. Moving it breaks the villager link and then the villager will immediately re-link with new trades. Much less hassle and faster!
This doesn't work on interactive blocks like lectarn or barrel lol
No bro , I'll use this trick in 1.19.80 with lectern and it works.
@@DJISBEST that’s just false
It’s worked so well thank you
@@logi1k “that’s just false” -🤓
Dude i always thought you had to turn each individual villager, im baffled you can just turn and cure one and the rest will get discounts. i love you dude
The villager that is cured gets a permanent discount and the nearby villagers get a temporary one
@@ninjadelverthat’s shit then i’m just gonna cure them all
I like it I like it I like it. Always simple always straightforward always step by step I’ve built many of your farms & have never had to guess happened in between steps. Everything is explained and material list is always in the intro. Keep doing what you do, you’ve truly helped so many people enjoy this game
Thank you soo much, you're the only person who does bedrock tutorials and you made my minecraft experience more special
JC is great but check out silentwisperer too he makes much more advanced farms and tutorials for us bedrockers
Was just gonna say that
Prowl Minecraft is great too.
There are a few bedrock streamers
Love your tutorials for us bedrock players!
Great video Jason! Have you thought about doing a video on auto zombifying and curing each villager for permanent discounts? I use a lever and piston system to lower my trading villagers down to a zombie and back up again. Slow and tedious but never has to be done again unless you move in a new villager.
Jason owns bedrock. An actual goat, deserve way more for your work.
Watching these videos help my day and my minecraft world. Thx for this villager trading hall :)
All your farms always works! Thank you!
I don’t know if u remember this but he did place a piston to move the lectern when he did a how to get mending
I was just about to look and see if he has one and i see this. He is the bedrock tutorial man!! Thanks JC
as always this is a great tutorial. its easy to follow and you answer all questions i have
Thanks so much bro your videos are always useful for me!
Thanks for another great tutorial!
I was wondering if you could make a sculk sensor and shrieker farm? I guess you have to use an ocean monument, build a guardian farm and make it a dropper farm with stone generators to be converted into sculk (Xisuma did this), but it would be nice to see how you envision it and how simple you could design something like this.
I make yt
USEFUL INFO ON THE TRADES:
* thanks to the changes to curing discounts, if you want a 1 emerald trade for an enchanted book from a villager you have to make sure you get a trade for the desired book costing 26 emeralds or less. As long as the price is not higher than 26 emeralds you'll get a 1 emerald book trade after curing them.
* as it's been said, by placing a workstation on a sticky piston with a lever you'll be able to get new trades without breaking the station, making it faster and easier to reshuffle their trades.
* if you place a trapdoor on the bottom of the top block instead of placing a slab, you can more easily more them into the station though the front, as they're able to get in through the minecraft, but can't get out due to the trapdoor, while you can still get in and out to get the minecart or other items inside the space.
Yes I needed this so bad thanks so much
I wasn’t aware that only one bed was needed in a trading hall, I’ve been putting a bed for everyone this whole time!🤦♂️😂
why only one bed?
Sameeee
this is SO right on time!!! i've been struggling in the past few days on how to make a villager converter and then you showed. big thumbs up to you and for this vid.
Why don't you just put the zombie with the villager
I was just looking at your old one about to make it and I love the weak arrow method tysm!
Also can you add hoppers to the farm?
Before I build the farm I found a zombie and he’s wearing my iron armor because he got me but his name is Zombo now and he’s just chilling
Thank you❤
Thanks man I was trying to make a village trading farm for 2 days and now thanks for the video
does the curing chamber have to be 5 blocks from the middle of the hall or can it be behind the hall as well?
you wont believe it but i have been waiting for this
1.20.30 you can no longer keep curing the villagers for increased discount. So I think you can only do it once. 😢
Yeah it’s not layering me do that either
Your explanation is amazing and layer out so well, seriously appreciate you ❤️
Question though, I'm making a massive hall and was wondering how far the effective range of the villager changing to a zombie and back needs to be from the rest of the villagers to get the discount?
Any villagers within 16 blocks of the one being cured will offer discounts. Those discounts are not as much as the one actually being cured and are temporary.
@Steven Rogers I see, thank you for the info, very helpful ^.^
Do you know how long this temporary discount last for the villagers ?
That I don't know for sure. I've had it last awhile before and then sometimes it seems to not be that long.
@Steven Rogers ahh OK, no problem, thanks for the help though!
If you have the patience, you can zombify all your trading villagers 3 to 5 times for permanent max discounts. It's time consuming and expensive in golden apples and weakness potions though. Jason's method is great as a starting point.
Literally perfect timing. I just made your iron farm! Just gotta get 7 more villagers in 😂😂
Your farm is working I make most of them
But I never make a big farm you teach 😂
JC thanks for the help on all of the Minecraft worlds but is there any chance you can make a slime farm if you do thanks
Just made this and had it work once. Hardly discounted the first time, so went to re-cure again. Now the zombie isn’t targeting/hitting the villager, even if I run away or punch/use water to move the villager closer
Help? Any suggestions ?
Same issue man
If you move the Redstone clock forward one and down two, you can put the lever on top instead of in front and have less exposed Redstone. The block next to the Redstone dust powers the villagers piston, then a Redstone torch off the side of that block, solid block on top, then another Redstone torch powers the zombie's piston.
hey jc playz im one of ur old fans btw i have ur old gold farm design in my world but the portal isnt lighting up by the method u used it used to work perfectly but now it doesnt light it up, Thanks
It would be helpful if you showed the finished build in action during the intro. It helps to see the scope of the build before going through the entire vid. Also ty for the builds, they've helped me out a ton since starting minecraft :)
this is the kinda stuff i subbed for 😎
Love your videos ❤❤
Love your farms! ❤ coming in clutch!
You always have the most perfect timing
Great tutorial 👍🔝
Can i make a second one next to it or have there to be a distance off 100 too?
You should make an auto/ super sorter as well as a shulker box unloader. This includes a water elevator and water conveyor belts. I’m working on one now but always nice to see a jcplayz video
Agreed
Disagreed
@@akarescty8346 👎👎👎
Your videos are always helpful!
It looks great but I was tryna make every single good enchantment book in the game with the villagers so I was wondering if you can expand the villagers to 30+?
An villager count, if you had enough space and materials, then yes
Thank you
Let’s go
I used your last diamond villager trading video and accidentally left them in the cart. It was 100% easier for transporting lol they never switched sides.
Does the villager cure machine have to be in that exact same spot?
Yoooo new farm LETSSS GOOOO
I have watched yours farms for year and they are amazing, my favourite being the gold farm but sometimes while making a farm I run out of room. It would be great if you could start the villager with the measurements needed for the farm. Love your vids.
Dont they need acess to a bed to restock trades ?
thanks a lot, btw can i kill the zombie after get discount?
Love all your video tutorial of the farms for us bed rock
Thanks Jason. I have so many of your builds. It almost feels like cheating. All your farms are op 😂👍
I didn't know that arrow trick that very useful thing
Thanks for the great and easy tutorial, but does the villager requires specific items to restock unlike java?
Hello! Do they have to be at least 100 blocks away from other beds/villagers/work stations? I want to build the trading hall and breeder close to each other. Like I’m so confused in the beginning of the vid it says this and in the end you build another hall right in front of the first one
Did you find an answer for this mate? Does it just have to be 100 blocks from their village/beds/workstations that they could be linked to? I want to build a breeder and trade hall in the basement of my house but wondering if being within 100 blocks of my beds will ruin it? Or the breeders beds for the trade hall?
Yes
@@dewijones8144 honestly I don’t really know villager mechanics are weird
@@mr_Peeholey ye I ended up makeong silents 5 in 1 iron farm so everything is together
thank you but can you make a big iron farm
I'm not sure, but i think that giving the zombie an item also should prevent him from despawning.
can the villagers be set up so they’re facing the other direction or will it mess things up?
Does the zombie machine have to be in the middle or can we put it on the side ?
I have an improvement to your farm. Instead of a slab, use a trap door at the top of the two block high gap. You character can walk under it but villagers cannot. Doing this will also make it a lot easier to transport villagers to their pods. As usual place the work station after the villager is in place. You may also close the trap door to prevent hostile mobs from attacking.
Hey JC I have a question for you: how do you sneak while you are flying? Btw good video!!
jump + duck buttons at the same time. eg. shift + space on the PC.
So you don’t have to zombify and cure every villager you can just do 1 within the area? And does this still work with the update?
Is it possibile to make Villager trading hall in Neather? I made one and they do not restock. is it a bugg or they need a full day/night cycle to work?
Btw if if won’t let you change the profession of a villager other than the 1st one just add beds lining the back
first off i love your videos thank you for the carry!!! i have a question: how far away can the villagers be to get the discount? thank you
Any villager within 16 blocks receives a discount. They're temporary though and not as much of a discount as the villager that was cured.
@@stevenrogers9644 thank you very much!!!
I usually just minecart them in the front, then seal them in. Instead of doing them in the top.
Why does the village/villager breeder have to be 100 blocks from the trading hall? Transporting villagers via boat is a pain in the ass. Also, why does the zombified villager need a workstation in order for you to expand the trading hall? Loved the video. Was very succinct and to the point. Felt that these two mechanics were not explained though
Do we need to have same no. Of beds as the no. Of villagers or just 1 bed is enough?
FOR PS4/5 PLAYERS
Have a friend in your game from mobile for example so they can enable the villager helper to see for you what trades the villagers will offer for levels 4 amd 5
Makes it extremely easy to get the perfect trades 😊
I'm about to build this in my world. How many villagers can you expand it by? I have roughly 50 and I wanted to know if I need to build two zombie chambers or if one is enough.
Update: I Decided to make it smack dab in the center of my trading hall. This way, I can breed my villagers in another area roughly 100 blocks out and then transport them to the zombify station. Then I set the trade after I cure them a bunch and now everything is 1 emerald. Hope this comment helps someone!
Does it work for all 50
@@lukestewart4807 yes, you do have to do them all individually though. Some multiple times to get lower trades permanently. Also, be careful not to accidentally send the villager back into the zombie when in the minecart. Did that yesterday on accident.
@@lukestewart4807 I also ended up only making one chamber. The key to success in the villager hall I believe is just taking them all there 1 at a time and setting each workstation one by one as they get cured and come in. Alot less confusing on who is linked to what
Jason, you're cool man, do you live in the USA?
Here's a video idea, maybe you should make a video about contraptions that could easily measure rideable mobs value like speed and jump height, or maybe you could help us by giving solutions on the bugs that we encounter throughout the game and even on your own farms, like how a minecart hopper that stops moving even on powerful rail and such.
If i build another trading hall on top of this one will I another bed to work for the next 10 villagers?
Maybe you can help me troubleshoot - my villager is not getting attacked by the zombie. I’ve triple checked the red stone system, but it seems like the pistons are firing at different times in a way that doesn’t give the zombie time to attack. I have no idea how to fix.
He’s very detailed in his tutorials. Clearly he’s been doing it long enough to know how to communicate every detail in case you need to block by block recreate his builds. Which I normally have to until I get an understanding for the mechanics of the machine then I feel like the video is now slow and takes too long. Funny how ignorance is bliss. Like how I was still at least a little happy before I realized my ex is too far gone to come back.
My zombie dies due to daylight, any tips? Have tried swapping trap doors with tinted glass
helmet
Hello, JC Playz
If u get the maximum discount, will it increase overtime again?
The villager that gets cured will have a permanent discount, while the nearby villagers will have a temporary discount.
@@Polaris-444 how many times do I have to cure the villager until all items are 1 per item?
Could i build the breeder and then break the bed and make the trading hall right there?
Do I need more than 1 bed if I make this bigger? (I am trying to get all the enchantments before they ruin trading so like 37ish) am on bedrock too. Currently I have 22 done but 1 bed per villager and I have so many cats and golems around my base it’s annoying. I’ve had issues where they link to different workstations prior to linking them all each to their own bed
i already built a regular hall with villigers i already traded with. if i just add the zombie mechanism will it still work?
Yes
When I bought a second villager over they wanted to take the other ones work station causing me to lose out on silk touch trade
I think i remember making them sit in water forever ago, do we not do that anymore?
You are the best man
No villagers were harmed in the making of this video they were simply convinced to lower there prices
Do the discounts from curing the zombie last forever or does it last a certain amount of time before the prices return to normal?
The discounts given by the ones who weren't actually cured are temporary while the ones given by the villager actually cured are permanent.
You can put the zombie in a minecart and all villagers on a sticky piston. When you lower the piston the villager is on, activate the zombie in the minecart to infect all villagers. Then raise the villagers back up and cure them.
I feel really sorry for that one villager in the curing chamber😂
Is it possible to move the villager cure machine somewhere else. Perhaps in the same spot but just higher or lower in the ground?
yes doesnt matter where it is
do you have to build it like 100 blocks away from a village or anything?
yes you have to build it 100 blocks away so other villagers can’t claim the job
Is it ok if I build it deep under my base?
Wait so i dont have to poison each villager now, i can just keep poisoning tht same villager in zombie machine n the other villagers around him trades will go down? Or am i getting tht wrong
If u want to get a certain villager for like anything for one emerald u should let the villager become zombie and cure it back
@@leehongjet2968 let tht specific villager with the specific trade become a zombie right n not one villager in the machine over n over again
When the villagers get the lower trades after you bring it down to 1 per emerald. Does the trades go back to normal over time? Or stays the same after it's Decrease?
The villager who was cured offers permanent discounts while the ones who were just near the cured villager are not permanent nor as much of a discount as the one cured.
@Steven Rogers Thanks buddy!
how come sometimes when im zombifing a villager the zombie leaks into the same spot as the villager?
thanks for the great tutorial. But what to do if the villager won’t trade with me anymore? For example the fletcher villager, who can’t trade sticks anymore after about 10 trades.
Just wait a minecraft day
Don’t they need to sleep in beds to restock?
Can u make the ultimate super Powerful village farm is like all farms need or gives village in one farm like iron farm village duplicate.with that farm
Very Great ❤❤
Great tutorial as always. Sucks though that you cannot see what the final trades of villagers can be on ps4 😢
I try to have only armourers and it sucks having to level the second one just to see if he will stay or not. Had to drown two alreay haha
Idk what’s going on but when I infect my villagers, and turn them back, there trades don’t reset no matter how long I leave them alone
Im bouta have the best villager trading hall ive ever had!
How long do the discounts last for?
I think every 10 trades
