    Yes very true, babies refuse to latch when they get the comfort of a bottle. It happened with me and my boy too, he just refused to put that extra effort to latch and drink and it was me pumping continuously. Allhamdillah you are lucky but I was lucky too just to pump and give the bottle to my family members to feed him while I slept. Much love to all of you.❤❤❤ May Allah bless you all.

    People really do not talk about the... 4th trimester... the engorged breasts... the baby blues... the constipation... blown up feet and hands... anal fissures... sleepless nights - literally no sleep with a newborn... breakfast @ lunchtime... lunch @ dinnertime... 😔
    I had sepsis and an emergency c section 2nd time around (8th March 2023)... both my pregnancies were emergency c sections... but my sister had 2 normal births and a better experience... everybody's different.
    First month with the baby... add that to the 4th trimester!... they are still coming to terms with not being in the womb... they hate being out. The crying 😢😢... Keeping them cosy and smelling mummy and - I feel Qur'an recited or played in background really helped.
    Alhumdulillah for all us women for being strong and delivering the next generation of the Ummah...
    Sisters be proud of your stretch marks and delivery scars they will light the way for you on the day of judgement... you will say 'see the evidence of how I brought forth children for your Ummah O Prophet of Allah!' ❤
    JazakAllahkhayr to all our mothers and fathers who have helped us - daughters through the pregnancies and 4th trimesters... May Allah reward you all with the highest level of Jannah AMEEN. ❤

    When I gave birth, the experience for me was traumatic. It happened the same to me that the epidural didnt do anything and when I started pushing I was alone at the hospital room alone with my husband, no doctor or nurse, they were changing staff at that moment. When the doctor entered the head was starting to come out. I have 33 weeks right now and sometimes I crie just thinking to have to go through that again.😢 I love my daughter and I just want to have this one already.

      I don’t know if this gives you comfort. But for my first I was induced as my water broke and even after 2 & a half days of labour, I had only dilated 2cm, so I was induced and being induced is like 20 times the pain of giving birth without induction, and I chose not to have a epidural and it was very traumatic. Fast forward to my 2nd child’s birth, I started getting* contractions at 7am and by 12pm, I was fully dilated and my water broke and i was ready to push, i was only on gas and air as I chose not to have the epidural again, and oh my goodness, it was so quick and I don’t even remember the pain, it was like the complete opposite of my first’s birth, as everyone said the second time round is easier, they won’t joking, it was literally night and day. So I really do hope it goes smooth and quick for u the 2nd time round.

      @wsuy143 Рік тому

      The second one is always easier. Don't get induced because that can slow things down and also the contractions are way more painful than just giving birth naturally without meds. Try not to get the epidural either. Also if you can change your position of giving birth instead of laying on your back. Make a birth plan and let the nurses/ doctors know your wishes. Insha'Allah you have a smooth and easy labor and delivery and you and baby are healthy 😊

    Pitocin is horrific two of my four childbirths were induced but the epidural had to be taken out because of dangerously low blood pressure. I then had to deliver without any pain relief. I can't honestly even call what I went through pain I felt like I was in another world of hell.....I could not speak I was screaming but nothing was coming out both my boys were posterior so that made it even worst.....awful awful hell. Please do not get induced next time wait until your body is ready Pitocin is hell on earth. You are a warrior to have done this

    • @marygeta4779
      @marygeta4779 Рік тому

      I agree... My fourth was induced... And the pain I felt had nothing to do with other ones. I was 10 days overdue, and everyone was pushing to get induced... The first part was ok, until the water broke (naturally)... Then the pain got tooooooooooo much.

    Imagine someone who has a C-section. In the Spanish culture we have the cuarentena which is 40 days of rest for post partum moms. When breast feeding, babies feed on demand. That's every 2 hrs pretty much. There isn't as much fat in breast milk as in formula to keep the baby satiated. He gets many maternal benefits when breastfeeding. You guys are doing a great job with Adam.

    Some people have no choice to do it on their own, they don't have anyone reliable, unfortunately. Or could be fortunately, it can make a person stronger and more independent. But if you have someone dependable, that is awesome. One can still be independent. Everyone would appreciate a bit of help in beginning

      That was us, the first time around no one really came to our house to help, we had to go to them.
      The second time we had to quarantine because we had been exposed to covid while at the hospital. It's definitely difficult but doable. Just a walking zombie, no biggie 😅😅😵‍💫 do I wish things had been different, yes definitely! Now if any of my friends or family have a baby and aren't getting help, I'm going to be there for them as much as possible because it's hard and it's not easy to ask for help.

  • @Hope-uk9kf

    I refused to have epidural. My water broke, no contractions, so had to have induce. contractions came 30 minutes later.Then the rest of labor and birth was natural. Long labor for 11 hours total. Doctor had to call other doctor to help push because I was worn out from 20 minutes pushing. So other doctor took his fist and pushed my stomach right under ribs to help push my son out! He was 8 lbs! Every person have different experiences so it is hard for anyone to know until they actually go through to understand what we went through.
