- I found a great first project for Raspberry Pi beginners, like myself. In this video I'll walk through how to turn your RPi into a radio! Super simple and good for newbies looking to get their hands dirty. Give it a try!
Github url: github.com/ChristopheJacquet/...
Link to the radio I bought:

The command I run (you’ll need to change the audio field to a file that’s in your PiFmRds/src folder)
sudo ./pi_fm_rds -freq 90.1 -audio smooth.guitar.wav

1:11 - Materials
1:51 - Install
3:17 - Antenna
3:51 - Create your own station!
4:39 - What it sounds like
5:08 - Recap
So cool, thanks! I’m going to try this.
Amazing, thanks! I want to try this but the only thing I am concerned about is that is a radio license needed to transmit radio signal using RPi, even if it is just for short-time, educational purpose?
This is so cool thanks for sharing lol, I wonder what distance it could cover ;)
depends on the size of the antenna I guess 😆
how can contact you directly?
Really great work!! We'd love to provide you with some boards if you may need them in the upcoming content. (PCBWay Daisy)
Does it work on the Pi5?
I don't see why not! I haven't tried though
