Sir, your proposed idea wouldn't work in my knowledge since a person who suffer trauma or stress activates his emotional part of brain which is amygdala. Stress hormone primarily damage his neurons in logical part of his brain which is hippocampus. He has to heal this trauma or mental blocks first in these cases.
But I agree, positive emotions like passion and internal motivation will boost neuroplasticity.
