Bikepacking the Pennine Bridleway - first time swapping road for trails!

It's late summer 2021, I have a few days off and it's probably about time I check out this whole off-road bikepacking malarkey! I walked the Pennine Way 35 years ago (and loved it), so when I recently heard about the PBW I thought part of it would make a great first off-road trip.
My tour took me from home in south Manchester, out north and east and up onto the high moors beyond the city where I joined the bridleway, before following it up to the town of Settle in the fabulous Yorkshire Dales.
