Wow awesome declutter motivation ! As soon as you've opened a giant contractor trash bag I knew I would love this video as I love to see people getting rid of junk and even emptying/taking out the trash. It's so satisfying to see so much crap leaving the house. I was just a bit sad when I've seen that the bag was empty and became almost full out of a sudden as you've probably discarded a lot of stuff off camera. I hope there was no clothes that can't be donated or fashion magazines/catalogs/flyers in that as I struggle so much to discard those things that I wish you would film it 🤭 I was also hoping to see when you've taked those giant bags out as they must have beeb extremely heavy and I was curious to see 😆
Oh don’t you worry. I have about 5 of those bags at home right now that are full and even more to fill. I’ll be filming more tonight. Watch for a new video Sunday 😊

Great job! Look forward to seeing your progress. I have gone they my house and downsized considerably. I no longer bring anything in that is not needed or does not have a home. Something in means something out. I have a family of 5 and I keep my dishes to a set of 8. My bath towels are two per person and two extra for guests. For large gatherings I use disposable items. For the sentimental stuff I try to understand that they are things and not the memories so if it is not used I pass it on or give it away. I also try to think about whether it is something my kids woujd really want use or remember because what we hold dear may not be the same for them. My mindset is also that I don’t want to burden my kids and family with dealing with a lot of things when I pass on. So if it’s not a need or something that brings a lot of joy to my life I no longer purchase it or keep it. Cleaning my house is half the time it took before and I am much less stressed and have more time to enjoy life. My only regret is to have done this sooner. With my kids I would have greatly limited their toys and clothes. Kids do much better with less, much less. Keep up the good work and I wish you the best!!
Everything you said is spot on. If I had to give one piece of advice to a young family it would be that less is more. Kids don’t need every toy and all the baby gadgets. Having a peaceful and clutter free home is where real happiness is at ☺️

Congrats on your new home! I have a question why did you pack all this stuff your decluttering when y'all moved in the first place? I only ask because im new here and im just wondering
That’s a good question and I ask myself the same thing. But the answer is that I wasn’t in the mindset of minimalism. If I liked it I kept it. I was only getting rid of things that were old or broken before. Now, I just don’t want so much stuff invading my space so I’m being very picky and choosy about what I want in my life. I hope that makes sense 😊
