Kelvin is the value used for white balance, it's important for getting accurate looking color. It won't affect image quality but definitely affects the look.
Have you had trouble getting clean footage from your camera?
I can't get a clear image when filming multiple people.
Try raising your aperture up to 4 or 5.6!

turn off sharpenning
Maybe try a different picture profile and/or add more diffusion from your light source?
