Nice work. I have a couple of uBitxs; they were my first HF rigs. I appreciate the thoughtful designs that make some good radios available for reasonable prices.
Most folk use built in keyer at 20 wpm… don’t think your sending at 12 on paddle is acceptable on ANY radio… interested in others findings.. I suggest you ask a CW operator local to you to put it through its paces, my guess is he will find the problem the same as others.. I have not tried a straight key yet, so will check it as soon as possible. I can understand you not seeing it earlier as your not a CW operator But thank you for trying it and demoing your findings. The suggestion of RF is a good one and will make sure all incoming and outgoing have suitable chokes..

i do think people have shack rf getting in, maybe earth radio or use ferrite rings on cable ..jeff..
